Look, the point isn't even about the fun factor in these servers. The point is that people go to these servers and artificially inflate their stats for what? To make their e-penises bigger?

Please. People who stat pad conduct themselves the same way in real life: always looking for the easy way out, rarely putting forth any real effort if they think they can get it without any effort at all. Hard work is lost on these pathetic excuses for human beings.

He might not be a stat padder but he's just a tank/APC whore, i was actaully impressed by how high their scores are, but now i'm wholly unimpressed. And WTH happened to UH=Ryan or whatever his name was, he was on the leaderboard for a while before.

check out this stat padding. most of these guys ended up with over 1000 points, i think the highest was 1650. theyre only lance corporals with 4000 global points.

Wow, that must not be a ranked server....if it is I don't see how the server is even still live. I mean, rarely on a knife/pistol server does someone get 300 points (most of the time they are kicked because they were padding their score), hell, even 200 points is hard to come by (by kills I mean, not revives and such).

Wow, that must not be a ranked server....if it is I don't see how the server is even still live. I mean, rarely on a knife/pistol server does someone get 300 points (most of the time they are kicked because they were padding their score), hell, even 200 points is hard to come by (by kills I mean, not revives and such).

knife and pistol only servers are illegal. i havent played on one before but im guessing they have modded the server so you spawn with only a pistol and a knife. in which case that is illegal. and when EA find these servers they will be blacklisted and a they will also make another public announcement saying any ranked servers that have been modified in this way will be blacklisted or banned

Knife/Pistol only servers should NOT be allowed to be ranked.

They haven't been modified, all the weapons are still available. The USC server has been asked to change it's name in order not to be blacklisted.

just try and enjoy the game, that's wad game sare for, if you care so much about others stat whoring, u just want to compete, not that it's a bad thing, it might even be a good thing, but i rather have fun. :)

on the usc server admins are constantly around to make sure the rules are enforced...knife/pistol is fun you cant criticise people for wanting a little difference in the game...but if they are stat padding then ban their god dam asses

I was able to gain 18 teamplay points in just a few seconds (I watched as some of these guys gained 20-30 points in just 1-2 mins), everyone was in a big group and did the knife/pistol then revive routine.

Lame...

A couple of things I have to say about it.

1. The game was nearly over, with 14 tickets on your side. Which draws to the conclusion the game would have been going on for awhile.

2. That is not un-natural. I've personally been in games where I've scored nearly 200 with my squad of 6 people (same going for the other team as well.)

3. If you look at that pic there is nothing wrong. All of the players on both sides have high scores, even the lance corporals, corporals, instead of just sargents, etc.

With all things said and done, I dont think that was massive stat padding. People who view it that way simply havent reached that score ever. Its a common famous quote:

"You can only understand what you've experienced."

In this case most of you people calling them stat padders have never experienced it, therefore cannot understand it. Hence, why your reasons and opinions are biased.

A ranked knife/pistol only server can not be modded as modded servers can not be ranked. Limiting the selection of weapons is not illegal at all nor should it be. If the server is named "Knife/Pistol Only", but you want to use all weapons, simply don't join. I am an admin of [9mm]TheONE's Knife/Pistol Only server and we rarely get someone who scores higher then 150 points....and the rare ones that do are usually padding their score and get a swift ban. We make sure that people are actually trying to kill each other, not revive everyone that is dead. EA probably wont make any public announcement saying these types of servers will be blacklisted as these types of servers (to the best of my knowledge) have broken no rules. At least, [9mm]TheONE's servers haven't. It was the first Knife/Pistol server of its kind and is still up and running with tons of support from the totalbf2 community.

If you have never played on one before then why are you making judgements about it? It seems you have no idea what your talking about.
