oh please, knife/pistol servers only are nothing but a stat padder’s paradise.

people are able to gain a crap load of teamplay points in very little time... it's STAT PADDING. PERIOD.

There have been other games with Knife/pistol only servers and maps. This is not a new Idea developed for BF2. With that in mind I do not believe TheONE can be catagorized as a cheater or stat padder, he might mearly enjoy that style of play. On the other hand that is a moded server. You have modified the rules of a RANKED server and that is not allowed. I think ea could solve some of these problem by letting unranked servers track their own stats. Of course I also think that EA should base the rankings sort of like bftracks did.

This makes me sick that people are soooo freaking caught up with stats that they will resort to this sort of gameplay.

Seeing Elektrik at the top of the score table makes me quite sad

EA needs to eliminate the running global score and ranks and just stick with medals and badges/ribbons. Everything should be playing this GAME for the FUN of it...instead of being addicted to a high score.

*sigh* Why the **** did I actually sit here and read the entire 10 pages of Bull**** (must be a really slow day at work)

It's blatently abvious that no one is ever going to truly enjoy this game as what it is "A game" and only play it to fuel their ranting and whining energy for the forums. I started out playing (or at least trying to) this game the way it was meant (teamwork, squads, communication) but quickly realized no one gives a **** and will only join a squad for the hell of it.....so be it. So I guess we have another twitch (quake 3) shooter on our hands......:box:

So far..my gameplay experience has NOT been affected one bit by these types of players. I guess I should consider myself lucky.

The ONLY bad in-game experience I ever had was with a player who continuously destroyed the commander assets on his own team.

It MAY seem like these types of stat padding situations are getting out of hand...but they are the minority..and NOT the majority.

MOST of us DO play this game for the sheer fun of it.

I wish we could just have 'special' ()servers where the stat padders and score wh0res could all play with one another using whatever method they choose..until they realized that it was no fun whatsoever and stopped playing.

Agreed, I for one have not ever seen any padding, I have seen enough people in vehicles doing damage and that doesnt bother me one bit because thats Battlefield.....remember it is vehicle based. I know now that i've said it It will happen but whatever, im still having alot of fun and if some dude wants to chill in a tank and blow the crap out of the enemy so we can move up and capture flags then have at it.....

Its amazing, only yesterday I played with one of the top 5 players and I checked the players stats. And somehow in ONE DAY they had another 10,000 points, they werent in the waiting que either. :/

And on top of that only like 2 weeks ago eXp had 75,000, now its 100,000.

You whinging idiots need to take a pill. Unless you could dedicate hundreads and hundreads of hours to playing, there is no chance you'll get anywhere near the top 50\100\200\500\1000, even you play all the time like those at the top do and you are a complete and utter whore of one thing\kit\vehicle\map only.

Do these people like elektrik effect you directly in any discernable way? Apart from some lame scoreboard for people who play way too much, that you'd never get onto anyway because you spend so much time bitching about things in forums?

Do they come into your game and TK you constantly?
Do they run in front of you jets when you try to take off?
Do they drive over your mines?
Do they turn into a vehicle and kill you if you get nudged if it's slides down a hill?
Do they turn on the red name bug and cause you to kill them?
Do they load first, fly to the other team and steal their planes before you have a chance to load, and make the rest of the map a farce?
Do they run into claymores you placed?
Do they run you over (after they get out, so you can't ptk) to get planes\helos?
Do they take off in transport helos on their own with 6 people on the ground?
Do they drive away in a jeep on their own?
Do they destroy their own teams assets?
Do they turn into a commander that always drops arty on his team?
Do they turn into a player who always runs into the arty you drop?

The answer to this all would almost certainly be NO. They might be on a pistol\knife server having fun, and getting points. They might be on a pistol\knife server stat padding. They might be spending weeks with mates on random servers stat padding in a less quiet part of the map. They might be on karkand 24\7 doing the exact same thing. They might be whoring a bomber on operation clean sweep. They might be playing a normal server and a normal map.

I have pity on the idiots who think they are doing the public some form of service by stopping people who've paid their own hard money to decide wtf they want on their own server, regardless of EA"s so called "T&C". Maybe you are just ****ed your own servers are no-where near as popular.

I have pity on the idiots who needed to play one map only for 400 hours, or one type of vehicle for 400 hours (or more), or those who only ever use one kit or one weapon.

I hope they plan to ban any server which is in any way different from whatever the game started with.

I'm sorry, but karkand 24\7 is blatant modded server and obviously stat padding.

Using 32 players on 16 sized maps is blatant modded server obviously only used for stat padding.

Using 32 players on 64 sized is blatant modded server obvoiusly used to increase the time and thus stat padding players flag capping stats.

Any form of server rule is obviously biased and modded, and used to increase stat padding.

The whole lot of you need to get a fracking clue. It's not going to do anything to you. Get over the whole "stat padding" crap. Play the fething game.

10k in one day is inpossible and 2 weeks for 25k is like 1500/2000 WAS normal for me but if you check the now leading person he gets like 3000 points a day well thats crazy imo
