Having said that I'd be quite happy if they just stopped the capping of flags from within choppers. The game can at times border on the pointless when there's a chopper or two just zooming from base to base and capping the flags without any real danger of being killed (very little you can do when a chopper is hovering 20+ft in the air and there's not an AA gun at the base).

By the way, thanks for the technical information on helicopters for the past 100 years. Very interesting...
There is ALOT you can do on all maps to take down choppers. Its just that people are freakin lazy tards who don't take the time to learn or try to take them down. Long distance fire from any of the .50 cals mounted on vehicles can take down BH's with concentrated fire. I've seen many teams shutdown blackhawks on Mashtuur before when they just try.

And i'm telling you this when i really enjoy flying blackhawks, but i can usually see that most people don't even try to shoot at them.

The 50 cal guns dont work so well againts attack copters. Hell they arent stupid. When they see you running to a jeep, you get a hellfire missile into your *** faster than you can se pootsy pootsy pants-s. Theory doesnt work, as long you tell you techs here, every choppa man will remember those and blast you to hell.

Yea well you must not be very bright yourself there. You don't go running for a humvee or buggy INFRONT of an attack chopper. You only go for one when its out of their sights (like behind or to the sides).

You also have to learn how to use cover, i've taken down an MEC attack chopper with AT rockets when it was hovering right in front of me. But with the use of a building i would pop out fire my rocket and pop back behind another wall. You also never pop out of the same spot twice because they'll be waiting for you. After both AT rockets the pilot and gunner had to bail and i shot them with my pistol and then proceeded to take back my flag.

People just need to use their noggin.

Well its that I DO run when they have backs turned, usually its the gunner who can see to the sides or hes all the time scrolling with camera, as they see me even if I sneak behind their back.

Well it can be my fault, but it just bugs me out. And I almost allways support when choppies arrive. Maybe I play too much support. :)

Support can do alot of damage to choppers, just have to find a good hidding spot and fire away. Distance is your friend in that situation.

I think missiles should send the choppers spiralling out of control when they hit. The explosions should cause enough force.

                        no. it cant.
each hit from a pkm will do .25% damage to an attack chopper.

Maybe transport copters... But, for example:

What are you talking about? The Support weapons do almost as much damage as the mounted guns on the humvee and buggies.....

All the other machine guns just make little noises and no damage
