im 85.73% sure its not bf2, every freakin internet problem where u drop out often,is almost always b/c u simply aren't plugged in right/its loose/cable=the suk

some1 above said b/c ur ips diff. ur machines internet wise are totally unique... well that's not true.. at all..... srry bud

if ur using the same connection line and the problem its somewhere outside your house, then both u and ur son would be disconnected, not just your son, having different ips is going to do shit if ur on the same line and that line gets dropped, ur both hosed

i'd replace his Ethernet cable and u should b set

My flatmate and I have the same setup as you. Sometimes I drop and he doesn't sometimes vica versa or we both drop. Either way it's relatively rare.
