Its not denying them one point, its denying them to abitily to continue with the flag-capping, spawnkilling. Its a cheap trick to do, and when it ends the round before most people get a single point, then I will do what I need to to stop it. And, like I said, it worked, next round they slowed down in the BH.

I prefer the tried and true, point and shoot method of dealing with a BH spawncamper. In that situation, you get one flag and your entire team is going to spawn in the area. That's at least 8 guys who can run or gun. If he kills you than the round is over anyways, since you are the last guy. Turning the tide of the battle is one of the best things you can do in this game. Gives you a real feeling of accomplishment. And if you fail, at least you tried.

I played a server the other day that had a 45 second wait time so all the players would be verified and ready to go on a new map loadup. Not everyone has 2 gigs of ram to get into a map first, heh. Though with my 1 gig im still one of the first.

50 cal and jeeps will rock on a BH..just don't be in one right by the flag otherwise the mini gun will own you.

Yep, I am totally capable of taking the BH down, I probably could have done so in that particular round. It was primarily to make a point.

I also have no problem with using the BH in this way, just allow the team to fully spawn first, and allow the battle to get into full swing.

If you have no flags, you can not spawn on a squad leader. nub.

Sure it is... by "fighting bh whores" I mean, fighting them by denying them the points that is the sole reason they do what they do.

Why don't you just go around running and killing as many people as you can, you might get some kilss instead of losing 2 points for suicide. Or just snipe the BH until it kills you, that is the worst you can do, suicide. The best you could do is look for a teamates kit and hope that you find like support, and start at least trying to take the BH down, the 50 cals are pretty good too. Suicide is worse than going rambo into an spawn point with your pistol blazing, you could've even picked off some noobs with your silenced pistol, cause all noobs do when they are hit by silenced pistols is start turning in circles.

He's right guys! Don't you see, the best way to make this game more balanced is to give up and not play at all! Who would ever want to try and do something as silly as try to take an enemy base? I know I wouldn't. I'd rather just kill myself. Because, when it comes down to it, its not about trying to do something cool and have fun, its denying everyone else of fun.

I know I wouldn't. I'd rather just kill myself. Because, when it comes down to it, its not about trying to do something cool and have fun, its denying everyone else of fun.

It is NOT fun to sit around for 5 minutes while waiting for one last person on your team to capture a flag. Not is it fun to just finish verifying and have all our flags already taken be point whores in a BH. I just facilitated the faster start of a New round, where everyone could start at once, with a more even beginning.

Unfortunately, you can not spawn on a squad leader if you have no flags.

Playing in Mashtuur City today as a sniper.....

see now thats the problem right there, if you want to win Mashtuur dont play as sniper. For MEC to win they have to do 2 things: hold the sw base where their tank spawns, and keep control of the ne base so that the other team has no blackhawk spawn. then take down the blackhawk, and it comes down to a ground battle.

nothing pisses me off more than when we have no bases left and our last guy alive is some fk'n sniper hiding out in nowhere and not taking a flag. so then we all have to wait for 10 minutes for the round to end.

Snipers suck big time, totally useless for the whole team, who cares if you suicided.. u were probably were useless throughout the whole round...

Try playing AT and take down those BH instead of crying.. :laugh:

Playing in Mashtuur City today as a sniper, teh other team chose to utilize a fully loaded BH to take teh flags. They were pretty good at it, and within 3-5 minutes of starting, all flags were captured. Most of our team was either still verifying or in between flags.

This seems to me to be outside of the spirit of the game, as it does not permit a fun fight.

Well, at the end of the round, I was the last sniper left, with a free flag to capture... But I did not. I suicided. Why? So the BH would not be able to milk more points out of this particular round.

Would you have done the same?

Mashtuur is sniper heaven for me... I routinely end up usually in the top 5 in terms of kills, not so much in teamwork. Teamwork I do in other maps. Mashtuur is my sniper map.

yeah sniping does nothing to win a map....probably why I almost never play them... and yeah I hate losing even a pub map, heh. If I get sniped I just respawn as a sniper take the turkey out and then switch kits as early as possible, heh.

I just camp the BH pad with my m95, and everytime it spawns, repeatidly snipe the person trying to take off. I usualy pull off 4 kills before that thing gets in the air. And about the whole BH whore thing, I really have no problem with it, and think its a great example of teamwork. My only gripe is it is to easy to do. On mashtuur, theyll be about 15 american Bunnyhopping around the pad waiting for the next one to spawn instead of capping flags. The BH should be more vunerable, its guns splash dmg need to be decreased and its armor should be lessened, so it would encourage people to bring engineers along. But as off now, I find the BH very easy to take down, just follow it in a hummve or a vodnix and its toast, an easy 5 kills. And whenever your commander just art the pad, and youll get about 10 kills every time.

I have no issues with the tactic itself either, as long as it is done with a certain amount of respect for your fellow players as well. It is simple enought to take down a BH, and It this event had taken place later in the game I would not complain, its just the fact that the round was ruined before most people could even spawn.
