With M95 one shot always takes enemy's health to 2 bars regardless of the body armour. It takes 2 hits to body to kill. Headshotting is best thing to do, but you just can't do them always. At least I can't... yet.
I don't have M95 unlocked, but I have picked a sniper kit several times to try it out. Definitely my next unlock.

Shoot once with M95, if they aren't dead, whip out the pistol and peg 'em away with iron sights

I like the m95, cuz its much more powetful than the m24, but i have to admit that taking out pilots out of helis isnt a big advantage cuz its almost impossible to hit a flying chopper.... not mention the planes

thats what I always do, in that way i got my pistol ribbon lol...

I managed to blow up 2 helis in the sky with this rifle. I think they were almost destroyd and I just get lucky but I laughted my brains out when I hit the heli that was that far away that I coud barely see it in the scope

and really if you shoot down the heli pilot than the heli will fall down. one when I did so it fell like a rock, but it was hovering, now what if i shoot yout a pilot driving a big heli with 6 men on board. one of them will take the seat righ? or I get the 6 frags instantly?

what I hate is when you finally snipe the pilot and instead of it crashing it just climbs up in spirals, and the gunner has plenty of time to recognize the pilot is dead and continue flying.

once i get corp im unlocking the m95. mainly because the SVD and the PLA rifles are crap!

I like the SVD. Not as powerful as the others, but with its accuracy and speed, I can take down more kills faster. I can (reasonably) kill 2 - sometimes 3 - (with SVD) before the M95 is ready for the 2nd shot. It only takes two quick "taps" around the head for a SVD kill.

I agree that the M24 is truly better than the M95 for the experienced sniper. I noticed a significant difference in the accuracy between the two. I don't know if it's just the scope design, reloading, or "zero point whatever" difference - the M24 is significantly better. The M95 was a disappointment.

one factor you guys haven't taken into account. When you hit someone with a M95 THEY KNOW. And chances are they will take cover faster than you can reload. With the other sniper rifles they dont take cover as fast and look around instead which seals their fate.

I must say that I'm pretty dissappointed in the M95. For China and MEC the M95 is an decent upgrade, but for the USMC I think it's not a huge improvement. I'm wondering if they will be "balancing" the basic sniper rifles soon since I think the USMC one is far superior.

Against infrantry, but I like being able to do damage to people inside vehicles (drivers in HUMVEE, pilots in helicopters, etc...).

Too bad the deviation of the M95 is 0.2 vs. the 0.1 for the M24.

I wish I had the sight and RoF of the SVD, the deviation of the M24 and the power of the M95 in one gun....but oh well can't have the best of all worlds. :cry:

Wow i must be one of the few people who like both the SVD and the Type 88. At first i preferred being on the american side for the m24 which is why i wanted the M95 so i could have an accurate powerful sniper for all sides. But after going from a few days sniping with the M95 back to the SVD I have never used the Barrett again and the SVD has become my favorite rifle.

I agree the M24 is much better, however the issue I have is the long reload time. The SVD shoots so fast and accurately, its rediculous. I hit someone with an M24, but even if its in the head (or near it) it doesn't kill them, they turn and pop off 2 shots with an SVD while I reload.

The SVD can get off like 4-5 shots before the M24 can get its 2nd shot off. The reload on the M24 needs to be decreased.

one crutial factor involving sniping and getting 1 shot kills is your PING!
if you're planning to go onto a server to snipe look for one withe a latency lower than 40 or so...
