Sniping tip for those who unlocked the M95

If you've unlocked the M95 and have been using it exclusively for more than one week, this tip will help you a lot.

First, go to the USMC team and go to the weapon selection screen, from there you should see your beloved M95. In the top right corner of the M95 selection box you should see a little button with 2 Arrows flashing, click this button once and a weapon called an M24 will pop up. This weapon does the exact same amount of damage as the M95 but it is far more accurate, has a thinner scope for more precise shooting, and has much cooler reload and bolt action animations. After using the M95 for a week or so, switching to the M24 will improve your sniping dramatically.

once i get corp im unlocking the m95. mainly because the SVD and the PLA rifles are crap!


and yes i agree with what you say. the m24 is far better at picking people off.

The deviation is 0.1 with the M24 vs. a deviation of 0.2 with the M95. However, the M95 will do damage to vehicles and allows you to kill drivers in those vehicles (like HUMVEE drivers, helicopters pilots, etc...).

I am fully aware of the M95s capabilities as I have been dominating everything in sight for the past month with it. I am just pointing out the FACT that after using the M95 for a long time, switching back to the M24 makes sniping a breeze.

Sure, but if you're squadding around at a range where the accuracy difference is negligible, the M95 is clearly superior.

Not the driver though the front window.

I've managed to shoot several drivers through the front window of vehicles and 5 pilots in their heli's. Very satisfying to watch the vehicle just stop and the heli drop to the ground…

I’d have to agree with OriginalGangster that after using the M95 for a while, the standard rifles seem a lot easier to use.

Yeah it's good fun sneaking onto an enemy airfield and shooting the pilots out of jets and helis, you can usually get quite a few kills before they realise whats going on and go looking for you.

Haha, you guys need some more practice then, the M95 gets a one shot kill 50% of the time and thus much better than the M24. Aims better too.

ah but the m24 is more accurate so your gonna get more headshots so i think the m24 is more effective
