I have looked at BF2 tracker, you are a liar. Your best round score is 74 and this does not match up to your claims of 40 to 100 kills a round. You should remember that people can look up your stats before claiming to be a 1337 sniper or spawn camper! By the way which name was spelt wrong, your total BF2 forum name or your BF2 game name?

Since the topic of this thread happens to be, 'Spawn-Camping Tips', I have many things to say... lol j/k. I have a few things to say, well actually, I'm not sure because I'm really not thinking right now, just concentrating moreo n my literacy...

ANNNYWAYYYS. A good spawn-camping position on the map 'Strike at Karkand' for the MEC would be grabbing any vehicle with a stationary weapon and going up to right before the corner of the first building in the second row of buildings.

There are 4 rows of buildings on the map and one stray just to clarify since this sounds quite complex if I DO say so myself.

The reason for going up RIGHT before the corner is because if an enemy tank is arriving, he won't notice the front of your vehicle mowing down his allies.

This isn't truly spawn-camping for the fact you don't go right up to where they spawn but where they must go AFTER they spawn and I will post the rest of this later after I finish watching something on TV.

Okay, so talking about the same map, for the USMC which happens to have crappy assault rifles, I hope some peeps agree with me because honestly, I like to unload the full clip on the enemy and not have to have a 'who-can-possibly-click-the-fastest' contest to waste a guy.

You can take the tank and spawn camp the peeps on the south side of the northern MEC flag because they happen to peek from that opening in the fence a lot. Alternatively, you could spawn-camp the people spawning near the staircase at MEC's second flag but there's a high risk of tank-on-tank/APC battle there. A good reason to spawn-camp there would be if that were MEC's last flag and vice-versa can be done for MEC and the second flag being USMC's.

Presently, I have not found a way to spawn-camp at MEC's third flag of the map, 'Strike at Karkand.' If someone has found a way, please inform me, I would love to implement it into my gameplay!

I think the best spawn camping tip is to know where the enemy spawns are at. I think this is an obvious one. If you can get into a position that can see all or at least cover a majority of them then you've more than half-way to keeping the base clear of hostiles while your squad mate caps the flag.

I think spawn camping is probably the number one reason i leave a server!

If you cant spawn then you cant play and what would be the point in paying fo rth game if all it does is gather dust.

Basically if any spawn campers on my server they would be booted to high heaven, plus i may spec him and tell all where he is! cheating bastardos

Spawn camping is one thing but it can be done and be acceptable under the right circumstances. ie. If it is the enemies last palce to spawn wouldn't it be wise to take the fight to them and reduce there tickets, Using arty to keep the enemies a little nervous and to keep them pinned down or more relucatant to spawn at there main base. I like the idea of sitting outside of a enemies outpost and killing them but actually camping the spawn points.

In sharqi peninsula to cover the construction site flag i have gotten the chopper when nobody was willing to be my gunner, and parked it on a building overlooking the constuction site. I probably got 15 kills in 30 secs because that was the US only spawn point and we had been trying to capture it for 5 or 6 mins.

Dealing With Spawn Campers

Indeed annoying finding a spawn camper amongst you - and if people continnually and obliviously fall prey to them, then obviously- the spawn camper is not dealt with properly.

Spawn campers should be noted and highlighted - and warning to all must be given to anyone spawning there - effective communication is a must; I've once had an excellent commander and an excellent squadleader whom makes persistent use of the microphone (he even starts singing after a while... :hmm: ), it was like operating as an elite contingent, we always knew exactly where and how the enemy would strike - they never had a chance.

After all - for every kill the spawn camper makes, is another ticket your team loses. Don't be afraid to kamikaze them with your own carrier (make sure everyone bails out :P).

All in all, Say NO! to spawn campers!
