What i like to do on gulf of oman is parachute onto the aircraft carrier and sit in the blackhawk gunner and kill people spawning.. or if ur on USMC, fly the blackhawk to the mec base and land it ontop of the huge silo thing half way down the airfield and mow people down. good fun

I had a guy doing that on Gulf of Oman last night. Me and my T90 didn't liked it that much :evil:. So i got a perfect shooting position at the Hotel and shot down the damm thing everytime it would land again :laugh:

I woulden't have a problem, but it's the F**king spawn kampers that sit at the main base, well I love to send them to meet Alah!

Exactly what is wrong with spawn camping when it completes an objective. My favorite is camping the carrier, I do not shoot people as they spawn but let them get in to a hehelor jet your fair game. Two purposes for this: (A) keep enemy air power grounded (B) keep enemy ococcupied away from capping flags. Other objectives could be keeping artillery, CP and UAV destroyed by guarding against repair. Waiting to steal valuable vehicles, finding the commander and killing him! These are just what I can think of off the top of my head. All seem to me to be viable objectives that would help win a match.

Destroying commander assets as well as vehicles is fine and dandy. It's when you are there with only the intention of spawn camping, ie shooting people as they spawn. This is by far the worst of the low form of tactics, imo. It will get you kicked from my clan's server.

You can claim tactics all you want. Our clan is based around playing the game to have fun. When you cause everyone to have almost no chance due to your camping, then we have a problem. Our server rules state that main base camping is off limits, with the exception of bombing runs with planes. Why? Because it means you aren't staying there the whole time, preventing anyone from being able to fight back.

Some may not like this. I personally don't care. It's our server, we pay for it. Want to spawn camp, buy your own server, and see how often people play there when it happens continually.

Spawncamping (with no intention of capturing the flag) is in every game considered to be the cheapest, most scumbag like tactic to gain points after statwhoring.

You know I wonder if you guys let people spawn camp at the enemy's base that is capturable? Don't you think its a huge advantage to say USMC vs. China in Dragon Valley if you can't camp them at the USMC base, especially when the game first starts and China has all the flags?

Nope, Dragon valley is very nasty in the aspect, cause you can see the carrier and whats on it while they can't see you, especially if you capture the most western usmc base, cause if you look from there to teh carrier you can see the heli's spawn and the anti air chaingun spawn, but if they look in your direction all they see is mist. I know that for sure cause I was usmc and the chinese had taken all the bases and everytume the heli's would spawn they would be destroyed by gunfire comming from an APC we could not see, that map must be changed.

It sounds like a good idea on the MEC side because you take a transport helo from the US and you can kill them. But if you're US it sounds like you're just wasting a blackhawk when you could be doing better tactics like hover capping flags. :laugh:

Generally, I find - that if the opposition's commander has managed to overlook your camping in a relatively big aircraft like that - he/she must be a pretty poor commander. I personally would have sent a small contingent to go around and deal with campers personally (sometimes there are well organized anti-tank or Spec Forces squads). If not, I suppose artillery could be spared for that if there's no better use for it. :P An effective tactic to up your stats though, can't say it rates too well on a team-work basis - especially hogging the helo all to yourself, when it could be put to transporting purposes.

I do that all the time (i never get artied because the commander is afraid of TK's. I always get easily 40 killls before ppl give up and spawn elsewhere. This gives my team total domination of the sky! And if all the bases are taken early and the carrier is the only one left then i get close to 100 kills a round. Pretty good haul id say :)

I don't like Armour or LAV's spawn camping on Karkand. Shits me no end when I spawn 4 times only to get owned by some lazy bastard whoring armour.

I have looked at BF2 tracker, you are a liar. Your best round score is 74 and this does not match up to your claims of 40 to 100 kills a round. You should remember that people can look up your stats before claiming to be a 1337 sniper or spawn camper! By the way which name was spelt wrong, your total BF2 forum name or your BF2 game name?
