we were on foot... he was in an APC...
We had no Armor...
I was a medic...
HE had someone in the vehicle with him...
A passanger... but he didnt get out untill the other guy showed up...

So acctually there were 2 guys from the start...
But i dont know... just sitting in the back not doing anything...

PS : we didnt spawn somewhere else because we were trying to defend the base...
Its just too easy to run away.... that is another P*ssy tactic...
If i try to defend a base... I dont run away from the enemy...

But i do want a fair fight... not an exploiter...

I don't spawn camp becasuse I don't like it, I don't do it because people whine about it, I know thiis since BF1942 and never do it in BF2. Spawn camping doesn't bother me.

This is the sort of thing in talking about...
Its an exploit to stat pad... but its not cheating.. but we still know we should not do it...

Its the same thing with spawn camping...
If you are close to the enemy base , you TAKE the flag or TRY to take the flag....
You dont stay outside the base with ARmored vehicle shooting guys as they respawn...

Its the same type of exploit...

ITS NOT CHEATING but we know not to do it...
Because its not "FAIR PLAY"

No. Stat padding IS against the rules - EA resets accounts that have done it. However, I never recall them reseting the accounts of base campers. Do you?

Maybe he was laying down surpressing fire waiting on backup to take the flag lol.

Listen its fair game to do that it clocks the tickets down and the points up and if you are stupid enough to keep spawning under his gun then fair play to him.

In my book anywhere on the map enemies are is a fair target and which ever way is chosen to take them out is fair enough.

Simple way to avoid an ass whooping is dont spawn, surrender and next round join the winning team lol.

If you cant beat them join them simple as that.

its all fair game, an apc should never be able to get to your carrier on gulf of oman.

Anyway, back to the OP situation. I know of teams where when i dominate with the jet, the other team will have a couple guys try to camp the air strip and wait for me to die or crash or whatever so they can keep taking out the jet before it gets off the ground. Its a fair and smart tactic. If they cant take me out in the sky, why not do the smart thing and try to keep me grounded?

Its the same thing. What he did was just a tactic, and for every tactic, there is a counter tactic. you should have just spawned with AT kit and taken him out.

There are annoying tactics, like the sniper hiding in the woods in daqing oilfields map by airstrips. Cant see him, only hear him, and by that time, you are most likely shot or dead. So what do you do? Take cover and call for UAV support so you can get his location and knife him.

Every tactic can be beaten so stop whining about it. What he did was play it smart: pound you guys and the base till reinforcements came.

If you were squad leader, why not spawn and call in Arty on his @ss? Or spawn as anti-tank and take him out? It's not so hard, really. Better than just expecting everyone to play like you would. You can't really assume that everyone will use the same strategies as you. Come up with a counter and just have fun with it.

Omg what a long boring story, these kinds of situations happen hundreds times a day buddy. And if that guy would ride up to the flag you guys would kill him in a matter of seconds.

Getting spawn raped is part of the game. I'm sure you've killed someone when they spawned right infront of you. Even if it was just once(1 kill).. it's a spawn rape.

tbh i often do that...not for that long but it's often a good idea to stay outside a base an and taking out people. Especially if you're in an APC or TANK. What i often do on dragon valley is park an APC outside the temple taking out the respawners while my squad takes the flag. Much better than all the squad getting killed.

u need to think of the other guy's perspective, hes probably thinking smart: "holy sh1t!! there r so many ppl at this spawn point, better kill them all before they stick a C4 up my ass!!" now if u were smarter, u would have just spawned at a different place, instead of knowingly letting him have free kills, cuz if u died the first time trying to get him, what makes u think ur gonna get him the next ten times??

so if i were u, i'd just spawn back at the home base or w/e, and take a tank and blast his ass away!! <--------------------smart ppl's way!!

I dont get why you find it such a problem:

1. you spawn at various points around the flag and he can't cover all of them.

2. you can just spawn at another flag anyway.

3. if he kept camping there he would soon get killed from your other teammates

4. if he WAS just camping at the base, it would be more effective if he just took it anyway. He can't rely on continously spawn killing you if you were smart enough to spawn somewhere else. If it was your last base and you had to spawn there, he could just take the flag and win when you can't spawn.
