I think i'll go 4 the mx 510. Not sure i'll bother with a joystick, i never used one before.

I'll vouch for the MX1000 Laser Mouse...I LOVE IT!!! Best mouse I've ever used. It's wireless (but as reponsive as a wired mouse), has a lithium ion battery and re-charging base, an LED battery life indicator, and has TONS of buttons!!!

I use a Logitech MX510 and when it breaks I'll go buy another one or an MX518. Personally I'd always stick with wired. I've never liked wireless for lots of reasons. You get pretty much 1 small advantage (no wires) and a truckload of disadvanatges.

Saying that people swear by the MX1000 and I've not personally tried it. The only thing that would tempt me is that it's made by Logitech.
