SUPPOSEDLY, spec ops are supposed to evade the UAV aren't they? (I've heard they in fact don't, but I've never actually tested this) If a squad leader wasn't picked up by the UAV by being spec ops, that could be how he evaded detection. Also could have had a 3rd person that picked up a medic kit to revive them that wasn't shown on UAV due to their spec-ops-ness.

There should be a spectator mode in BF2, so hackers could be caught much easier. Or there's two other options that won't happen and they are:
1)Punkbuster to actually work
2)For the idiots who are hacking to stop, well uh... being idiots.

Spectator mode is really needed , however in a First Person view. First Person view , where you can see who he really aim, is also needed for the Battlerecoder. I cant say who hax if im looking always 3rd Person.
Maybe some of you know GhostRecon by Ubisoft, there was no Anticheatsoft outta there but a Replay Function like in BF2 . This Replays shows the firstperson view with Hud, Fade and so on. That allows you to prove your imagins .

Next thing i do really hate is Punkbuster itself. Does PB ever work ACTUALLY in games like AAO, JO:TR ??? I cant remember for my self. I know that many guys , me included, send a whole bunch of Links to PB. Reaction of PB was always the same: We know this site and we observe them.

Ah, I could have sworn I read that in one of those preview things that they were supposed to. (probably to make sure someone actually guards the assets) Probably just another thing that was screwed up from the beginning, like everything else.

A Mate of mine and I had the same thing happen on Karkand at the USMC rearmost spawn 2 guys were under the first grove of trees on the right side of the road I was in the APC, he was in the Tank. We took both of them down and not 2 sec later they were both back again.I said to my mate "didnt we just kill those guys??" there was not a 3rd because there was no place for him to be hiding so you are not alone in suspecting stuff going on because this was quite awhile ago as well

seen the same crap in Karkand kill a guy and 3 seconds later he was nagging me again might have been a medic but umm never heard the enemy medic revive him or never seen the other red dot on uav

The first time that it was mentioned was by some geek at E3. Then everyone was like "OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!" and it carried on from there, I think it was mis-interpeted or he was just bullshiting.

And LOL at all of these "hack" posts, honestly, you have no idea about hacks or cheats, so why make these completely nonsense statements like "I swear I was hit by a blue vodnik" if anything, that is YOU modifying a skin, or it's a skin problem.

I've seen some players appearing directly in-front of me & immediately disappearing again, they are only visible for < 1 second. I'm sure there is some kind of "teleport" hack, as I've cleared an area (& am SURE its clear)

seen that load of times...but it's not a cheat, it's just a spawn bug where if the spawnppoint selected gets overrun, and so they're not selecting one, it will respawn them to where they died for like a nano second. so you see a flicker of them, then they're gone.

i've seen that happen, pisses me off. you see somebody flash, you go to shoot them, they are gone, then a real guy comes from where you were watching before and shoots you.
