I think the M95 is TOO inaccurate and it should be a 1 shot kill if it hits a critical spot like the head or the heart or so because i mean if its going to do 95 dmg to the chest and 95 dmg to the foot then thats pretty stupid, unlocks should be upgrades anyways shouldnt that be why their locked because their better

They should give the option of unlocking a more powerful Anti Tank Launcher

How do you do a quick prone up close besides pressing Z and how do you do the quick roll to the ground i see a lot of people doing it

Unlocks are not upgrades dummy. You don't want people running around with unlock weapons owning the map. They are supposed to be different.

For example, the PKM is shoots slower but does more damage. The G3 has a smaller 20-round magazine and no grenade launcher, but does more damage.

      OK?

The weapons are locked so that people playing for a long time don't get stuck with the same weapons forever.

I've been waiting for someone to say this about the M95.

First off, GREAT POST. I really enjoyed it and its nice to see somebody talking positive about some of the aspects of the game instead of bitching like some others..

To those who dont like the M95.. Whos making you use it? Switch back to the M24..

The people who suggested the M95 is more suited it closer up squad work are right in my opinion. Thats where the accuracy and sound issues become less of a factor and the armour piercing ability comes into good use. I haven't unlocked the gun myself, (DAO and PKM here) but I'll pick it up off enemy snipers defending a point my squads moving in on.

The M24 is probably better for that long range camping where you want to pick off guys with headshots. The M95 is sort of a halfway house between the M24 and the autos which can be good support in a squad. It's just another option.

The M95 will be my 2nd unlock (the 1st was the G3) The others don´t seem to add something new.

I am one of the people who are happy with the M95, I even love it, have almost 300 kills with it and 55% acuracy , I have shot many guys in there chopper true the glas and many more with one headshot

Re: Information about the M95 - It's balanced fine.

IMHO the amour piercing ability of the m95 isn't very useful.

If I snipe a 'fit, armoured, person' in the body with the m24, it's going to take 2 shots to kill them. If I do the same with the m95, it also takes 2 shots to kill them. If the target picks up a medkit, then once again both rifles will take a further 2 shots to kill the target.

If I snipe them in the head, the damage is doubled/tripled, and they die instantly with either weapon regardless of armour.

The m95 is "theoretically better" when firing against an armoured target that has between 6 and 35-ish damage, is at short-medium range, and fairly predictable.

However, I tend to find armoured people spend most of their time running around - in which case I'd rather have the accuracy of the m24 to actually hit them.

you have a point, but still I prefer the M95 .

Like more then half the people runs around with 80-90% health , most of them lost like 10% or more from jumping of something, one bullet hit etc, .... all thos are going to be killed in one shot with the M95 , while the M24 doesn't take them out.

Piercing true glass is great, when a chopper is hoovering at a point to capture it you take out the pilot very easy, also when a chopper wants to lift of, you shoot the pilot very easy true the dam glass

I dont calculate it by damage, its 1 shot 1 kill in the head and 2 shots for anywhere else, a real sniper isent close enough to his target to get a pistol shot and 50% + damage is a kill assist, conclusion, the M95 may do 95 damage to armoured people but you will need 3x more attempts than the M24 to get that one shot off when you could be headshotting people with the M24.

NASA spent millions inventing a pen that would work in space.

                      The Russians used a pencil.
off topic but about your Sig.

I know this is a popular thing to say, and it looks like Americans are stupid and wising money. But what they don't tell you is the whole story, ever tried to sharpen a pencil in space where there is no gravity ? or there breaks a piece of the pencil and it floats around ? and the material of the pencil is Cole , this is guiding for electricity and caused problems in space because it floats around the small area

Assuming half the people are running around suitably damaged, how many of them are wearing armour? maybe 1 in 4? Which would mean 1 in 8 targets is 'm95 1-hit killable', whereas the m24 gives you a much better chance of headshotting/hitting every target than the m95.

Given the other downsides of the m95 (e.g. slightly noisier than a tank, bad scope) it appeals like a hole in the head...
