X360 or High end PC

dont know if this has been discussed before,but i dont know which one to get,should i currently upgrade my PC or just buy a X360.I have no idea which one to decide on,and i wont have enough money to do em both,so what do u think i should get??

just upgrade ur pc if ur gunna get a system though then go with the ps3 it will be better

Upgrade - Or do low replay value, poor quality and poor range £50 games appeal to you as opposed to higher quality, vastly improved choice and customisation for £30...
Though xbox360 will have very good online play I suppose with its free silver version of xbox live...

256mb Nvidia 6800 GTO
2 GB Ram
P4 3.2 processor
160 GB 7200rpm hard drive
48xDVD/CD-RW drive
15in LCD screen

Im hoping to get dual core processors,whatever the best video card i can get right now,maybe 4GB mem ram,and a 19 inch LCD screen,and also maybe a 52xDVD/CD-RW drive.

i suppose it all depends on what vista is going to do for us gamers....

its going to be good for my work but i havvnt got a spare pc to run the beta on to see what its like.

also depends what you want from a gaming rig... if you play your games socially with you friends all sat round etc etc the its got to be a console on a HD tv ... if you want to play more complex and involving games and dont really care about friends,family or a social life then its PC all the way....

also you can connect your TV to the pc if you want to sit about and play BF2 in widescreen goodness.

Yeah i remember the golden moments of console playing with friends. Man we shouted when we played WRC or ice hockey games.

was gonna build a new rig this Autum / winter have decided to leave it and buy an xbox360 as it eats alive any pc i could build at a fraction of the cost - lets face it with BF2 all were doing is beta testing a console game and paying for the privilege! look at the q-rose if that's not designed for a console i don't what is, no I think i'll save the grand and a half that a new pc would cost me and take the whole family for an extra holiday this year instead and then buy the 360 for a few hundred quid when it comes out..

Well thanks for the replies,i think ill stick wit my PC and upgrade it every now and then,so anyone know where i could get a good screen for my PC,but not too much money,any info would be greatly appreciated.
