hacks are ruining this game

I was playing in a server earlier and i was using the anti tank kit and some guy came up to my flag on foot this guy had to be a total moron but he had to have had hacks because i shot him 2 times with the AT weapon and then pulled out my pistol and emptied a clip into him all while he was laying on the groung right in front of me i know i wasn't missing because every time i shot him his body twitched he finally died when i pulled my knife out and knifed him twice

not only was this going on but in the same server some other retard was flying a cobra and he was hover capping my flag and every time i would shoot at his chopper with my AT weapon i would hear some weird sound and the rocket would just go right through the cobra i understand lag but no amount of lag could account for that

then later on i got into a server where i was sniping on karkand i was doing good until some guy got in and took a support kit and he had to have had an aimbot it was a 64 man map and i was laying across the river from him behind one of those concrete blocks and he's just blasting away at the concrete while i was under cover so when he stopped firing i figured to reload i rolled out and tried to snipe him and just before i died i saw the muzzle flash from his M249 thats all i could see here again i could understand the commander spotting me out but if i couldn't see him through my scope there's no way he could have been able to see me thats why he kept shooting the block i could have stayed there the whole match but what fun is that

this is getting very aggrivating for me and i'm almost to the point i either want to give up playing the game or get my own hacks just so i can compete i've never hacked in anything and i never will but i'm just extremely frustrated

just because you didnt see him doesnt mean somebody else didnt see you, snipers are abound in karkand. you couldve been shot by the barret and gone down to 2 bars of health and he couldve had a lucky hit on you at the same time, its happened to me with the support gun. it sounds unlikely, but its very possible.

as for the cobra thing...im drawing a blank for an explanation, your monitor could be too small for the set resolution though, that kinda cramps things up so you shoot one spot but in the game its actually up to 5% off.

the 1st i doubt is a hack. if he had some kind of god mode active, why did he let you kill him? answer, lag.

the 2nd is a well known hitbox/collision mesh/thingy bug.

the 3rd thing he may not have been able to see you at all. uav or a spotter told him you were there. he has a saw so the only way he can hit you is by blindly firing and hoping he gets lucky. he got lucky.

edit your best round is more than double your next closest score and is on mashtuur as usmc? you have no right to complain about bugs in the game.

I see my anti-tank rockets pass through things at least once per night... it happens.
I once saw a rocket fly straight into the ground and dissapear - no explosion, no sound.

I'm not denying that there are people out there with cheats, but I think quite often sh!t just happens and the only explaination people can come up with is "Cheater!".

your sadly mistaken if you think there arnt hacks for bf2... i would post some of the many sites but that would only let ppl get the easyer... (dont use hacks... could cost you a new cdkey and a new harddrive...)

of course there are cheaters, but most of the time ppl accuse others of hacking all it really is is buggy gameplay or ppl that are just better at the game.

Yeah sometimes I kill people behind walls (they where running) because the hit box was totally misplaced and I'm called a cheater. Note that the opposite happens alot for me and is starting to ruin my game experience.

None of the things you wrote down are hacks, one is a well know BF lag problem and the other is just a glitch.

About the only hacks out there right now are..
1) about 4 versions of an aimbot.. give it a few days and pb will catch them all.
2) briteskinz - Turns the badguys bright red and your team blue.
3) Locked Ret - Your ret doesnt open.. if you are using this PLEASE keep useing it.. the salesmen at bestbuy/walmart/compusa etc are waiting for your next purchase of bf2.
4) Another one that I dont know what its called.. I have seen SS's of this from evenballance.. it turns players to wireframes and lets you see people behind walls.. again, if you are using this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep using it. You wont be using for long... or your account for that matter :)

*keep in mind that 90% of the cheats out there are spotted by pb screenshots.. Also keep in mind that punkbuster doesnt ban off the getgo, meaning if you used any cheats last night, you will more than likely not be able to login tomorrow..

Yes there are hax for BF2, also it has a lot of bugs and the lag (not always noticable) doesnt help. Theres been many a time i have thought "hmmmm he should be dead" and yet ive died (example - enemy launches an M203 at me from 1 foot away which blew me up yet he survived/ my SRAW went right through a guys chest and he lived etc etc etc.

The list goes on and on.

Maybe in future patches itll all get fixed, some kind of realism should be added to the weapons i think, take the SAW for example - if its spread was as bad as you see it in BF2 the Army would have thrown it away!

Buggy ass stuff but fun all the same - dont be put off by it - were all getting the same - just do your best and smile

exocet, are you really that blind or are you just trying to stur up the thread?

FYI... there are hundreds of private site's out on the internet that aim towards manipulating game code and not just BF2. I *could* name 1 site that is constantly updating it's software to bypass PunkBuster's scanner within BF2, but I will not indulge that information to the community. Some of you may know what site I am speaking of.
