It is silly, eh? any mines and explosives - the moment you deploy them, you can't take them back - even though you're the one who planted them.

A pain in the ass when you try to stick C4 to a moving vehicle - and end up planting it at your squad mates feet.

Engineers can disable mines and claymores with that magic spanner. When disabling a claymore make sure to approach it from either sides or more preferably from the backside of it.

It would be very nice to be able to pick up C4 or claymores.

I was talking about ArmyOfOne's post which includes 2 vodniks. Please read the next time you feel the need to comment on something and really I couldnt care less about your egotrip screenshot have how ZOMFGuB3r you are.

Im not saying it's impossible to take down a BH, I'm saying that ArmyOfOne's solution is silly and in any realistic scenario is never going to happen more than once.

Be nice! All these comments are useful to some of us.

Yeah, I know - but just imagine:

SpecForce: "Hey man, can I inconvenience you to help me pick up that C4?"
            Engineer: "Hey! do it yourself!"
            SF: "But I can't!!!"
            E: "Well, tough titties!"
            SF: *Breaks down and cries*

It's not all the time you always have an engineer handy, after all- they have better things to do, like repairing spawn camper's carriers. :p

You know, I figured out a good way of taking out a BlackHawk.

I use the force, ask the pilot to jump out, and I get the other guys to jump as well without their packs. You;d be surprised as to how well this works. 10/10 times.

I recommend it to anyone looking for more out of this game.

Aw... thats it - I'm on your squad!. Maybe I'll have one of them in a deadly choking grip as they fall out of the helo.

Why don't you just fry the Blackhawk with your force lightning?

Re: Tired of hovering Black Hawks?

Had a great time last night getting rid of the hovering Black Hawk...my squad took their main base where the BH spawns Man, after spending so long in the air, they had all forgotten how to fight on foot!!! They all just stood around at the heli pad like fish in a barrel.

If you get a group together that consistently goes after their main BH spawning base, trust me...the BH crew gets sooooo irritated that they spend most of their time hunting for you and wondering if their base is gonna be capped that they spend less time doing the hovering flag capping.

                  It was sweet, sweet fun.

Re: Tired of hovering Black Hawks?

If everyone in a map (lets say Mashtuur for example) shoots at the blackhawk, it will most definetly go down. Even with engineers and gunners. Too many people would rather just ***** out and hide behind a wall and wait for it to leave. If every just started shooting at the thing you're either likely to hit one of the people inside or the minigunners which will allow for the AT and Noobtubers to take the thing out.

and btw, 50.CAL mounted machine guns can be helicopters worst nightmare for any chopper. A guy in my clan flys choppers almost always. He says that those guns can get on you from half the map away and there's really not much you can do.

So if you have a POS mp5 or our of AT rockets, just hop in a humvee or vodnik and start shooting the blackhawk. I promise, if everyone in the map cooperates, you will probably begin to see people ditchin the blackhawk and going on foot again.

Not six people just two to three. I normally obly play when at lest one of my local friends can and we always try to get on the same team/squad. IDK what i wrote, but it was most likely one person has an Eryx and the other has the gun in a Vodnik. This alone will tear down a Bh very quickly, and coupled with a stinger missile and/or another vodnik it is nearly unstopabble if spread out. The only thing that messes it up is when teamates jump into the vodnik and drive to random places and just leave the gunner there. I wish you could lock vehicles.

That's the only thing that messes you up? I'd have thought any competant BH pilot who circles the flag first to clear out people like you would put a serious dampener on your little strat. It's not exactly easy to hide a Vodnik.

The most reliable strat is to have a minimum of 4 people with AT hiding nearby. All fire at once and hope that you all hit.

Of course, BHs don't really need to take flags at all. If they circle at a reasonable distance, the concentrated damage required from ground fire just doesn't happen (stingers would pose a threat if they were in the area and deciding to work properly for once) but they can still drop tickets with great efficiency with the miniguns.

you made some very good points. Im talking about public servers where everyone runs to the bh and the pilot could be anyone. Anyone but a good pilot would be torn down by that strategy. Never tried it against a clan or a squad of pilots and gunners that are always on point. I do like at the end how you talked about the flying machine of death AKA what will happen if they take away the Bh ability to cap from the air. Some servers I play in have rules against capping in air, so we just etar everything up from the air and that makes people even madder then when Bhs cap.

I usually stay between 2 buildings in a LAV. I stay hidden after adjusting my gun, so i can just move a little forward to have the BH right in front of my gun.

As they dont c me they come and get the flag. As soon as I see the flag becomming white, I just do the dam thing!! ^^ One Missile inside and gunning as crasy ....
