Either that or he will point the minigunners and the .50 and take him otu while you get a free At shot to wipe him out. Just seperate you position from the other man and its a near garruntee BH kill.
    Have you ever played BF2?

If you're not in a Support kit then use the fixed machineguns!!! Alot of people forget them and never use them.

For example: At the SE flag (the flag where the tank spawns), there's a fixed machinegun just East of the flag there. It has a clear shot at the Masque. What's even better is that it is partially covered by a tree so you have cover from anyone slightly elevated.

Of course the machineguns on jeeps are the best deterant if you're not AT or Support in my opinion. You'll assume that the Black-hawk has a medic on board, so unless you hit the same guy three or four times he won't die. This is all the while trying to dodge the mini-guns.

A good Black-hawk pilot will slowly rotate so the gunner can kill anyone shooting at them. An even better Black-hawk team will have a Support kit on board so everyone not gunning can throw grenades or a SpecOps drops C4 under the Black-hawk killing anyone there.

But of course the best is to 1-shot the Black-hawk with an AT rocket. Hit any flying vehicle in the front or back of any of their wheels - the sides won't work.

The BH has a frightning strong armor and miniguns...not fair. That thick thing of the MEC and PLA is like crap. Anyway, i like to destroy hovering choppers with any vehicle at hand . Especially with a tank, shoot in the back, 4 kills :P

The reason for this is that you don't get proper crews in those things. Set it up like BH and start capping flags, it works like a charm. Machineguns aren't so effective, but they'll do their job because they are somewhat accurate.

Remember that there aren't so many anti-MEC-transport- chopper -squads yet :p so U.S.M.C doesn't know what hit them

That's hard to do. I've only done it 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The best I got was pilot + 3 kills.

Re: Tired of hovering Black Hawks?

If a blackhawk is hovering really low, my favorite thing to do is run up and just drop a grenade into the cabin (if they've pretty much landed). Either that, or my best BH kill ever came when I ran and tossed a nade as it took off.....the nade went in the side door at an angle and into the cockpit (I guess it hit the glass and bounced back or somethin)
                and boom, 5 instant kills

Yeah and that works like 9/10 times for taking out a BH. A little skill doesn't hurt.

It's odd that having actually played the game you say that a BH will get an alarm if you point your SRAW to it. Even odder is that you mention its "engines".

It's also not very reliable. It all relies on about 6 people all being in exactly the right place doing specific things at the same time, something which rarely if ever happens on BF2, and it also relies on there being two vodniks and an AA emplacement nearby... which you cant exactly rely on.

#2. You have to be shooting at the correct angle into the cockpit for a one-shot kill
Unless the Blackhawk is facing directly away from you, you can shoot the pilot in the legs, in the back, in the torso, pretty much anywhere...of course the head is a 1-shot kill all the others get him to 10% health.

#3. The chopper has to be ABSOLUTELY still or you have to be the best crack-shot in the world.
Not necessarily. If you're an experienced sniper you've learned to shoot moving targets (no need to explain how to do this since there are plenty of threads about it already). If you treat the pilot like a running target then its the same thing. Like I said I've only done it 3 times in 2 weeks and I'm not a "crack-shot".

I'd HARDLY call that the easiest way to take out a BH
I agree. There are plenty of other ways to take out a BH and being a sniper isn't one of them.

What are you talking about. All you need is one Vodnik. Here's a screenshot of the scoreboard at the end of a Mashtuur City round where I played MEC. I downed the Blackhawk 4 or 5 times that round in a Vodnik as an Anti-tank kit (I did use my AT kit to fire or finish the Blackhawk sometimes when I overheated the Vodnik's machinegun).

Nice job harmon, its not hard to take down a BH, but people would rather bitch. ROFL Look at the MC commander score.
