haha good one, i use the Eryx to shoot down heli's its a lot more effective than heat seeking missiles that dont seek heat, it doesnt take to much practice to get the distance and lead right and if its a blackhawk aim for inside the crew area if you can.

Eryx = BFG

its a one shot shotty
its a guided sniper bomb
its anti heli (plane if they slow)
and of course armour

I hate how EA forces you to use AT, they put 50 apcs on a map, and they expect to do "squad play." Yea right. You have to be AT or hide in the bushes when they pass by. Me, I refuse to play AT that much and I just take the deaths, cause infantry+mp5=even more ****ed off.

I was a noob tube once, sometimes if you fire at the round if next to a badguy, he dies and your ok, same for ERYIX, grrrrr. I got to admit it can be fun to take someone out with a ERYIX.

This is a troupling thing. It is stupid to kill PEOPLE with it when its meant to be used on tanks and APCs. But then they can't really kill anyone else.

Sorry to inform you but in real life they can be used to kill people that aren't in armor. I've seen video's of troops in Iraq basically using those rockets to take down a building of insurgents.

People will do whatever is easiest to kill people and adapt with it. This is just another example and so was the nade launcher.

you cant call the AT missle a noob tube... it takes a LONG time to reload plus you only get a couple bullets would you rather there not be a AT missle and tank whores just run the map

When it comes down to me as a sniper and a AT from a far the sniper wins unless he sucks because u see the missle flying at you slowly -_-

if it was meant for APCs then it woulda had a MUCH more devastating explosion PLUS more effect

Countless times I have come across some n00b who shoots with me with their Erix when I am like a few yards away, sometimes even knifing distance! Erix are used for long distance or for taking out tanks not close combat quarters against foot soldiers!

It takes 3 of them to get a tank smoking, 4 of them to blow one up.. you get 6.

So, it's almost as if EA wanted you to use them on Infantry. The way I see it, unless you have a good 4 AT in a squad working as one you're hard pressed to put down a vehicle before it plasters your friendlys all over the place. I mean, for a rocket, they don't even put down Hummers in one hit.

The reason I tend to kill infantry with the AT missile is because that's the weapon I have ready when running around looking for vehicles. If someone pops out and tries to shoot me, I'm not gonna take the time to put away the missile and then pull out my crappy SMG. I'd be pretty much dead before having the SMG ready :p

You know, im just here to quesioning the stupidy why people use explosive material in close ranges. If normal grenades would explode on impact, there wouldn't be much whining about toobs.

and and just so you know i dont even use that crap. Most of the time im using the spec ops kit, and get 'noob tubed' and rocketed too. you use each kit to your advantage. This game is not, nor will ever be realistic, so get over it. believe me, if anyone knows about realism in combat, its me.
