it all depends on how you use a weapon that makes it effective or a pile of crap. as support you job is to cover your team,. now for the pkm i have heard that it does real dammage to vehicles not the simple bouncing off of all the normal arms but will actually put a scratch in it. it all depends on what you prefer the g36 i have only used once and it didn't seem all that special to me the pkm is a gun that you should have a buddy with. support is to lay down fire for team members and have some one with a g3 or a assault rifle covering your ass. thats why your support to support your team. but it does all count on how you use the gun and what your prefered actions are, if you like to run to every point and try to kill all the enemy there at closer cqb range your not going to want to be support, if yoru more of the i'll hang here and cover this street then get the pkm.
