You can hover cap a flag in a JSF-35, but a noob tuber or AT guy can easily take you out.

Its not ready to be released yet because it is still in the experimental stage. Once it is out of that it will be the F35. I just want people to realize we dont even use that plane in war right now and probally wont be for a while. The FA-22 is still not being used in war. If anyone disagrees thats fine because you dont know what your talking about lol and if you want to tell me other wise go for it. Thats all i have to say about that lol
Yea, the FA 22 Raptor is nuts. The tech in it is ridiculous...i was watching the history channel on modern jets and a Raptor, in tests against F35s, went 1 against 5 and won.

I've got the vertical landing down, basically just slam my throttle back full and pitch up slightly so that the engine spools to full power and I don't sink too much.. same thing with takeoff, I jam the throttle forward and pitch up as I accelerate off.. not entirely accurate, but.. then again, this is BF2..

I was just playing offline trying to land on all the hard spots on the Oman map (I've only got demo )
I managed the Hotel roof, pool, and the part under the essex. Is it possible to land on the crane?

yes check my video some post up, i did it, and its funny :) iknow all of you can do it, juste need smooth and small correction once you are close and perfectly symetrical to the crane.

how do you maneuver a JSF when in the hover mode?

I always set my throttle position so that I'm descending slightly, then pitch the nose way down to get the damn thing to crawl forward.. which is stupid.. is there a better way??

F-35B actually. The Navy and USAF F-35's have no VSTOL capability.:p

I saw that video, well done. You should've showed more of the crane part though instead of just 2 seconds.

That was fun for me! The flag had been white for a couple minutes for some reason, so, rather than landing and taking a boat over from the carrier, I decided to just land get the flag myself. I was proud of myself because I'm a pretty lousy pilot :)
