That "Great Squad" Feeling

I've found that the best way to encourage proper squad behavior is to join an already existent squad and stick by the squad leader whenever possible. Always spawn on him unless he's at a flag. You'll find that often other squad members will join you and the squad leader will start to take responsibility and give orders. Soon, you're running with a fully fledged squad. I think the problem often boils down to everyone assuming that no one else wants to play as a squad just because no one is. Of course, this doesn’t work 100% of the time but it’s worth a shot.

Whenever I'm squad leader, I always try to play with the squad in mind: be the one missing soldier class in the squad, hang back so guys can spawn at me to take a flag, give coherent orders, and follow the commander. Likewise, when I'm a squad member, I try to follow the orders and play whatever role is needed. If ever want to go Rambo, I'm just a lone wolf with my AK in my hand and that's that.
Anyone else feel this way? Anyone else want more "tight" squads like this? I'm tired of having guys in my squad who should just be lone wolves...
I would love to see some servers that run and are just played by tight squads...

oh, yeah baby! that IS the way the game is supposed to be played. it's rare you can find it and make it work on a pub (if you are by yourself, i.e., no clan mates around). but when it does, it's awesome!

me and my guys will try and get on a server (and we are on our Ventrio chat server as well), and form a squad. then off to the races. we are not afraid to defend an area either. flag cap-point protection kills get you extra points as well.

also, a successful squad ATTRACTS players to join it as well. calling it "teamwork" or the like (like you said) helps as well.

EDIT: I would play on the tactical gamer servers, but they are not ranked. maybe after I get the next promo, I will go there (as the next promo is nearly unreachable at my rate of play! :) ).

've played this game over 50 hours, and this was the first time this has happened. I find that ridiculous.

Did you expected that people play the game is it should be since beginning ? You are ridiculous.

With time, u will see more teamwork, better tactics, better communication, happens in every game. ( except CS :P )

I know, I know... I should have lowered expectations.

Actually, I've found less and less teamwork over the past 2 months since the game's release. Sad, but that is my experience.
