im a quality gunner, but a semi ok pilot. i spend most of the time piloting the mec and chineese choppers. I should really practice more with em

I'm not the best, but am pretty damn good.
Currently ranked 80 in helo with 15015 kills, 4141 deaths, 198:39:13 time.
I realize stats don't really mean much, but they're the most "concrete" estimant I can throw out there.
I fly hard and fast, maintaining the offensive at all times.
I prefer solo, as a bad gunner is much worse than no gunner at all. I've got a few guys that I trust in the gunner seat, the rest I'm very weary of :P
Interested to see how the new patch will impact attack/flight tactics.

Up till now, being a helo pilot is not exactly a badge of honor, but more like a cheap way to get points. We'll see what it looks like after 1.2

What? being a GOOD pilot is Stat Padding? Will it ever end? After 1.2? Big deal they're gonna nerf a few missles, and shorten the range of the TV. I waste 5 or 6 missles reloading everytime my gunner tells me he has 0 TV left. I don't see these changes making that big a difference. The one major exception, hopefully the TV won't be able to out Range the AA like it does now. Camping the chopper pad with the TV isn't skill, it's Fun, but it isn't skill.

The best is overrated... I'd rather have a pilot like myself that goes for the real targets, meaning anything "other than infrantry"... Too many chopper pilots just sit over spawns and rape...

eFFe, Nexar, nobodyhasthisnameyet, NASTIE_BUTLER, MW_Fisker^ and Inc|LoKi are the best pilots I have prob ever flown with, i've met some other talented players but I don't remember their names

If by ''THE BEST PILOT'' you mean they shoot you out of the chopper with they M95 sniper ''TK YOU'' every time to get in a chopper when your sitting in it.. Then yes I'm with you.:|: EVERY ****ING TIME MOTHER*%#%*#%*

You can be good at flying chopper?
Excuse me for my arrogance, I have never allowed a chopper I saw to live more than 20sec, so I couldnt find out weather or not they are good, but then again im a jet whore, I dont stay on the ground often to find out.

I also find it easy to take down attack choppers with the machine gun on cars, they seem to do extremly large amount of dmage to choppers, hit it for 2 seconds and it start to smoke, another 4 and it blows up... you can kill it with the gun before it notice somethings is shooting at him and turn around to shoot you.
But then again I rarely fly a chopper myself to validate that assumption.

If they were like they were in DC, few people in BF2 could fly them because they are n00bified. Anyone good with helicopters in BF2 have no bragging rights at all because quite frankly, they're much too easy than should be.

I can pilot pretty good but I am not so good at landing. I try not to pilot when I can. I would rather be a door gunner.
