in combat, i dominate the helo fighting, i usualy fly alone, i dont trust a co...i shoot the cam missle my self, and hit anything...and when a nother heli is in my cross hairs, i give him to chance to move

If they were like they were in DC, few people in BF2 could fly them because they are n00bified. Anyone good with helicopters in BF2 have no bragging rights at all because quite frankly, they're much too easy than should be.

If they're so easy to fly in BF2, why is it so difficult to find competent pilots ? Being able to keep a bird in the sky is not equivalent with flying one skillfully.

You can be good at flying chopper?
Excuse me for my arrogance, I have never allowed a chopper I saw to live more than 20sec, so I couldnt find out weather or not they are good, but then again im a jet whore, I dont stay on the ground often to find out.

I also find it easy to take down attack choppers with the machine gun on cars, they seem to do extremly large amount of dmage to choppers, hit it for 2 seconds and it start to smoke, another 4 and it blows up... you can kill it with the gun before it notice somethings is shooting at him and turn around to shoot you.
But then again I rarely fly a chopper myself to validate that assumption.

I appreciate your self-skepticism because, as concerns the latter, most good pilots will immediately recognize jets or ground vehicles firing on them and take appropriate actions to either eliminate the threat or move to a safer location before engaging the new target. In turn, I won't assume to have the ability to avoid being taken down by your jet, but I've usually managed to escape these 'silent gun' attacks by even skilled pilots. Still, there's always the possibility of such a thing occuring.

I agree! haha. You're ****ed and have every right to be, except I agree with you. You missed the sarcasm in my comment. I was commenting on the fact that the game is so flawed to favor airpower, in a very significant way, that the idea of a good helo pilot is laughable.

But, you seem so ****ed, and with good reason, that I'll offer to be your punching bag. Yell at me some more. I won't take offense to it. Get it out of your system. 1.2 is on the way.

Just got my stick for christmas so i would not want to mention myself. Played a round of Dragon today and just loved eX3meKiller. I joined his squad and it was awesome. I dropped myself off the mountain :wall: , and called for a pickup on the carrier. He accually was a pilot that flew all the way back to come and get me. You gotta love this guy. And to be honest i am not that great a gunner.

Well yeah but I can fly it upside down, backwards, barrell rolls, loop the loop, vertically down, sideways, 4 feet off the floor, between trees, under every bridge and through tunnels. I can actually do the same with the attack choppers I was just trying to portray a slight air of modesty. So much for that. :|:

haha upside down eh? Its called inverted btw and you can only do it if you have like 500+ altitude and only for a few seconds. Its not actually flying inverted its more like a full frontal.

Oikeistopoju1 is very good Finnish flyer. I have been his gunner couple times and he knows how to win 1v1 copter battles, avoid jets, AA, jeeps and still kill everything that comes in the way.

Yes he is the best out there !!!
He is realy insane!!
I'm in one of the best EU clans of clanbase and never saw any pilot like him!
He gets a better score then the gunner and knows how to evade AA missiles.
Don't get me wrong he do helps the gunner but he is just sow quick and good with the missles most of the time enemys are dead before you seen them.

Oikeistopoju is a complete tool. He is incapable of doing anything but fly the cobra. He teamkills to make sure he gets the cobra, he will leave a server if there are no attack choppers on it, and he will start a votekick on you and say things like "YOU ARE A F***ING NOOB, LEARN TO PLAY" if you kill him.

First time I met him I downed him twice with TV missiles from distance and he proceeded to abuse me and start endless votekicks. He will then switch to your side, join your squad and then teamkill you. This is the kind of scum that needs to be eradicated from this game. That he uses the stupid MEGA LARGE name prefix font hack thing is an immediate indicator to the fact he is a 12 year old little turd.

I don't remember dude's nick...but I think his name was Wes and he was from Florida. Hands down the BEST helo pilot I have ever seen. Would line me up perfectly for TV missile kills on tanks, bases, etc.

Back to DC, I was the best heli pilot I ever saw, no bullsh!t. There was'nt any thing I could'nt do and I routinely bested fighter pilots. Funny sh!t when a Mig would come straight at me while I was flying in reverse. He/She would be met with a volley of rockets and then have to spawn back at the airfield so they could get in line to get shot down by me again. Oh as for all other opposition, forget about it ! Oh and one more thing as to my heli skills, I was so good at nap of the earth that I could drag the mini-gun in the sand at El Alamein all day long. Forget about it!
