why no music in bf2?

I may be wrong but I swear if you go to a quiet part in the daliant powerplant map (the map in the intro movie) you can hear a radio in the background playing chiense propaganda music.

I could be wrong though.


Also I thought the music in BFV was cool but I hated how every vehicle in the game played music. Even the artillery cannons!!!!! Should have just been the hueys and usa, nva jeeps.

EA spokesman or the producer has explained that they couldn't identify the songs that defines the present generation so they took it out. Of course, another alternative is that so they could lessen the cost of production by not buying any licenses for each music.

they could have just given you the option to use your own music like you can in bfv.

i spose it was just one of those features that was way down on the to do list.

The music always gave away your position, you could hear something come along with the radio on a good ways before you would hear it normally. But it was fun for a while when BFV first came out.

Pretty smart move by EA, I'd like to listen to hip-hop while raging into an MEC base with a tank, but I know some other would want to listen to rock and something else while in the same position.

You are wrong :) The intro map is daquing oilfields (SPELLED THAT WRONG?)

I think they should have a radio option on so that people with kick ass comps can use it.

I used to love how the n00bs always gave away their positions in BFV with their music.

e.g. Every time I heard 'Ride of the Valkyries', I would just hide with my stinger and blast 'em in their Huey when they weren't looking.
