What video settings do u play at?

my x700 plays everything high apart from lighting and textures which are on medium, i aslo have 2x AA on. My x700pro is so cool!!!

hey King of Chaos, how did you get Anti-Aliasing to 6x, also did you do the +szx 1280 +szy 960 in the shortcut and it said that in video settings? how did you do that, i thought if you changed the command line in the shortcut it wouldn't change it?

Yeah, the game runs pretty good - believe it or not - even with my not-so-good specs. :)

Don't get me wrong, there ARE slowdowns every now and then when it will dip below 30 FPS, but most of the time it's anywhere from 30-40 FPS ... even reaching 50+ FPS at times, which is very playable anyways... and with all of the eye candy on (Lighting and shadows look sweet even at medium)... it looks awesome.

I'm not sure, but I think its because he got a ati vid card? Oh plz I'm not a ati fanboy... its just my thought. My friend have a 6600gt and can only set AA to 4x, with my 9800pro I can have 6x as well.. but thats not good for my framerate

After the fx cards nvidia let me down so I went ati and I will stay ati from now on :evil: and... damn Fatmom that is one big sig :laugh: but it's cool.

yeah the FX series sucked badly, back in the far cry days.But the 6800 (gt and ultra) are good.Im waiting for ati to release this damn new r520 so the x800 prices can drop, nvidia are also supposed to drop the 6800gt prices, so i'm gonna wait and buy the cheaper between a 6800gt or x800xl.

2048 res with 4 x aa and 8 x af (sometimes 16 X) all ingame options on HIGH

FPS usually sits on the 100 fps mark but dips down to mid 90's mid 80's during heavy arty....smooth as silk the rest of the time.
