I saw someone somehow take away kills like this with the shock paddles. The BH was low, on fire about to blow, he ran in and shock paddled it, died, and got the kills. I was in awe, had no idea you could do enough dmg with the shock paddles to steal a vehicle kill.

Sometimes I'll punk a thousand bullets into something and get no credit when it explodes...some other dude with a pistol will get the kill. Sometimes the point system is beyond sketchy.Comment

if the kills registwered as "blackhawk" it means that these people where not inside the vehicle when it exploded; they died from splash damage.
if you hit the 1-hit kill super dooper uber spot, they would not have been forewarned enough to bail and then die from the explosion.
they were hit beforehand and you got the last shot in. simple. this is backed up by that some had already began bailing from the heli when it exploded.Comment

Got similar, but less strange: I was waiting for the middle chopper in Kubra Dam with engineer, a BH passed over me, and I shot it 7 times with shotgun... seconds later it crashed with the crane and I got 5 kills. I said WTF....? :) :OComment

Once in DC, I hit the wrong button and threw a smoke grenade at a tank before it exploded, and got credit for the kill. It even said Hanneman [SmokeGrenade] Someone.Comment
