Interesting kills

I was in Mashtuur City, playing MEC. We were pushed back to our last base, and a Black Hawk was terrorizing my team. I was a sniper. Black Hawn was near full health, as far as I could tell. I air at the gunner on the right hand side of the chopper, and shoot with my SVD, but I missed the gunner... then the Black Hawk exploded.... and I got 4 kills for it. It showed the SVD killed the first 2, and Black hawk killed the next 2. Anyone see this? Did I hit a Gas tank or something?

3 hypothesis:
1: you have discovered a BH 1 shot kill point (less plausible IMO)
2: another guy hit the BH at the same time for you were a tad after him so you got the kill even if you did only 0.001 % dmg to him)
3: glitch in the game.

The helicopter crashed or hit something and since you were the last one to do damage to it you got the credit for the kill

No, it exploded in mid air.... probably just lucky.

hmm sounds kind of weird...but i'll stick with #2's number 2 point

the explan. is what the other guy said, the bh crashed, but since you did damage to it, albiet it VERY little, you still 'caused' it and therefore got the kills

I'm pretty sure it was smoked a few times before you hit it

I managed the same thing on daquing oilfields once, but with a pistol. I saw the tunguska missiles hit, and i kept on plinking away at it anyways, as my clip was more than half out. I was the last person to make contact with it before it blew, so i got the credit. id say the same thing happened here, but you just missed the AT rockets or PKM or whatever caused it to blow

either he crashed or someone else took him out and you just added a bullet, I once got kills on a heli like that with my pistol :)
