Dumbest things you've seen !

Sharqi Peninsula last night, playing as commander of the USMC and noticed somebody capping the US flag at the very tall building at the US rear on level two. I made my way up there via the internal staircase and went prone, crawling around the door, I spied mines....not claymores but, anti-vehicle mines. There were three of them around the doorway !

What was he thinking...Maybe I was just trying to drive a tank up the stairs, perhaps, maybe not :laugh:

He didn't live long enough to find out.

Or maybe he was hanging at the furthest back(safest) base, like most commanders do, and didn't want to let it go easily.

Anyways the dumbest thing I see in BF2 is when 75% of the players on a server are spec ops.

No I don't take part in the fight unless I really have to. I just noticed on a scan that an enemy soldier was near the building and was going to take the flag. Nobody else on my team was even close and I decided to take 30 seconds and prevent the enemy from establishing a rear spawn point behind our front lines.
My main priority was and always will be the providing for the soldiers under my command and I will only do as I did if I think they will be compromised by the enemy attacking them from the rear.

What would you have done ? :)

Had a suicide jeep slamming right into an APC with four of us the other day. The jeep...it was friendly.

I just love commander who take the Black Hawk alone and win the match for us, all we have to do is sit back, have a coffee & and cig while he with his godly skills fights the 32 Enemy troops all by himself.

Also uber 1337 Engineers (yes they are so great that i have to write it in nerd style) who are so awesome to spam the entire field with mines, then simply chuck a nade if some other evil friendly engineer tries to clear them up, after all winning the game is not the objective, being a incredibly skilled mine pimp is what BF2 is all about.

I was playing on a ranked server with no team damage on... I was commander and a bunch of noobs wanted to mess about on our airfield c4ing themselves, so they asked for a supply crate but i kept refusing.... so they followed me around for about 15mins trying to kill me, even when i got into an apc and went into the middle of the sea, they were still there following me in a boat...... then i spawned at a different base and they came after me in a blackhawk... wot looooosers

p.s. arty is great with friendly fire off!!

Leading an assault against armor in Tunguska on Zatar Wetlands.

Today was awesome though for me. The entire match when I was in the Tunguska I stayed back like mobile AA does and completely wrecked the USMC airforce. Can't remember how many fully laden blackhawks I popped but it was so much fun.

Probably the fact that stinger missles need a lock and a miracle to hit enemy choppers/planes, yet any stray missles always seem to find their way to friendlies.

Like 10 minutes ago, I had a successful lock on the chinese chopper, it wasn't even moving, just sitting there, I waited for it to drop flares, and fired after I regained my lock. There happened to be a US BH right behind and below it, probably 40m. Somehow my missles which were locked onto the chinese chopper, curved around it and hit the friendly FULL BH. 6 TKs, -36 team points.

I was commanding on Mashtuur City when I artilleried an enemy base. The closest teammates were far away...I made sure because I hate getting punnished for artillerying teammates. Even so, some of my team managed to kill themselves in it anyways. Of course, I was punished twice. I thanked them for punnishing me for their mistake only to have one of them tell me I should check my map...thats MY line I thought to myself

Believe it or not I use artillery as little as possible lol

Sitting in the co pilot seat of the plane for five minutes beacause the pilot wont fly then getting bombed, repeatin this time he takes off and flies me straight into a mountain, this time i fly and get kicked for 4 noobs running into me o takeoff because i got the plane that they sit and wait all game for

squadmate gets team killed by a clay on the right side (USMC) on karkand going up the roof. sniper (teammate) proceeds to put a clay back where the original TK'ed my squadmate as i go up there.
