Simple heavier classes can't jump, they have to clime over stuff, not just jump over, and they can't sprint as fast. As far as beeing hit, it can be like in cs, when you are hit you get slowed down. And the no jump solves the bunnyhopping of assult class players.

But I'm not dumb, I know my solution creates as much problems as it solves, so it's merly an alternative and I understand if a lot of you wouldn't like it implemented, it's just that IMO it would be a nicer way. Maybe something for a servside mod.

Edit: Papiguilio, nice FF8 easter egg.

What should be adjusted in the next patch imo, is the fact that a soldier can run a longer distance. Cus daayaamn even I can run a longer distance.....and I'm not even trained :p

Maybe even so that the more you play the better your condition will be and the longer you can run. To an extend tho, not that when you finally reach Master Sergeant and can run an entire map so that you have to actually add a key to make ya walk

My thougths also. I know a full combat load is heavy. But under fire, you'd be amazed how fast your little legs can move.

I disagree, this is war, you are in a hot zone with enemies all over, your heart rate is already elevated and you are carrying a 60lb backpack+weapon+ammunition and whatever else.
Most of you would be out of air at walking pace whilst carrying that lot.

There is a big difference when you play as Support and carry the PKM, then switch to Spec Ops, he can run so much longer. I've played with my bro, so I know, he always is infront of me cause he can sprint for longer.

OK guys I know there is a trade off and all, but im talking something better than that. There are 3 bars, but the game only uses 2. Why? Id say they should take advantage of that. Up the amount of sprint for each bar up one, so if you hard three bars of sprint, youd have the equivalent of 4 of todays. then the somewhat heavy guys, like engineer and assault and maybe medic, should have 2 bars, equalling three of todays. then last but not least the big boys like AT and Ammo get 1 bar, equalling 2 of todays.

All im talking about basically is giving the light movers some sprint that is more realistic. I mean when your carrying around only a carbine, couple of grenades, and some light c4, but you can barely run faster that a dude carrying a giant machine gun, grenades, and more ammo then an army-navy store, it just doesnt make since to me.

                Not to mention ADRENALINE!

you should be able to sprint for about 45 seconds, but it takes 1:30 to recover your stamina fully after that, and normal moving speed should be a fast walk instead of a jog. Like what PRMM did, cept they didnt change the stamina amount.

It doesn't matter, remember these soldiers are carrying guns that are kilo's. On top of that ammunition. For assault and Support they carry heavy armour. I'm not sure if you've ever tried to run in a full bullet proof vest, but let me know what you think once you do.

Let me know what you think when you decide to carry a four kilogram gun, along with ammunition, a pistol, some armour and not the most comfortable boots to be running in.

Personally I think this represents real life. Not even the triathlons at the olympics are carrying that much weight on them when they have their rush of adrenaline at the end of the huge race.

I'm happy with sprinting being the way it is ingame. There's enough sprint to find cover (most likely), and that's all that's needed.

You guys gotta remember they are running the whole time until you die, so it does make since you can only sprint for a while. =/

I think it's fine, even though it can be annoying sometimes.

they need to get rid of vehicles in some maps, like for the expansion pack, focus on ground combat with the soldiers! runnin is sweet!

I just wish that when you are out of stamina you can't jump. It seems jumping does lower your stamina but at 0 you can still jump halfway up a 3 storey building
