I agree. Most planes have ejector seats.
The tank rounds sound pretty cool and blood replaces the hit indicator.

Their jo reality mod is flat out awesome compared to normal jo. They got permission from novalogic to use the assets from Escalation. Jotr + the BA reality mod lets people enjoy the new vehicles, weapons, etc from Escalation without purchasing esc.

They made alot of cool changes.

I haven't played it yet, but the buck and slug option for the shotgun is really nice. :p

i didn't like this mod becuse i couldn't find a button in the browser filter 'mod servers only' so it listed hundreds of bf2 servers. and i don't know how to play with bots either because no button has a string.

I like it alot. Sniper_13...do you walk around your house with a crosshair up. I think losing the crosshiars is good, the one thing I don't like about it is the ease of taking out armor. Im not armor whore, but its so damn simple. Tanks in real life are that weak, but around aren't on the 'frontlines' like they are forced to be in BF2. They should add ranged tank attacks into it.

What are your other thoughts on it though, what made you not liek realistically. I think its not perfect realism(but games will enver be) Only thing I wish was different is Chutes, and armour.

i think its pretty good, nice job req, i remember when u guys first started up with ur idea on DC forums, good to see u made it come true, cant wait for new content, but i still like the mini mod part

I think this mod is great. I would like them to implement the class system from BFE in the minimod, which is liking considering the BFE coder joined PR fairly recently... Only thing i don't like is that i think you should have your health bar, and know how much ammo you have in a vehicle, and you should have much more stamina like in BFE, so you can sprint for about 45 seconds instead of 6.

irt parachutes: You don't bail out of a jet at mach 2 by opening the cockpit manually and bailing out, then pulling your parachute cord. If you managed to not hit some part of the aircraft and kill youself bailing out, you'd be knocked out by the g forces and just hit the ground.

in short: bailing out as it is is unrealistic and removing paras makes using planes as a quick transport impossible.

and for those of you who want ejector seats... have some paitence holy crap!
No one (to my knowledge) has ever figured out how to make an ejector seat in 42 or BFV and BF2 has been out for 1 month and a half, and the MDT only a week (maybe less im not sure).

honestly, does anyone here have ideas on how to make an ejector seat work? i have 2, but each of them are problematic (ie not perfect)


... and Foxen... just type "PRMM" in the server name option... It says it if you look... All PRMM servers are supposed to be running with PRMM as the first 4 letters of their servers name.

but i think the parachute thing is stupid i mean come on u eject out of a heli or Jet ur a dead. man what they should have done is if you are in an airplane or heli u should be automaticly equpied with a parachute.

I haven't tried this mod, it looks like they know what they're doing, but may go too extreme sometimes. They seem to have a pretty awesome team, but again, very very extreme views. They also seem to have a more European base & standard with adding Land Rovers and what not, then actually redoing the Humvees (From their website, as far as i saw).

Of course, i'm kinda partial to OIF.

they redid the whole accuracy recoil system and is almost perfect.

I dont think they expect this mod to appeal to everyone. But this mini release is very small and just to be a taste of what they are doing. For fans of realism, this mod will be for you once its done. They like most mods, have a long way to go right now though. However they got all the pieces in place with a great team and organization... plus they are a bunch of great guys. I wish them all the best and look forward to future releases from them.
