Who is jealous? I don't give a rat's arse about having good stats but those who pursue good stats tend to bring a lot of negative aspects to a game I enjoy playing. So when I see something that I think encourages this type of player to pursue stats even more I comment on it.

its all about the amout of time you spend on this game - think about it - it is logistics and certainty.

Putting this eXp.ElekTriC aside - if you or i could play for 12 hours per day each day every week... we would all have stripes coming out our ears... Fortunatley for this bloke... he sits at home a lot in front of his PC and is able to spend the majority of his time online...

Congrats? Achievement? If rank was based on skill then it would be a achievement worthy of congrats. I'm not going to try and insult the guy but its no big deal that he has that much free time.

Its pathetic to see people playing a game so much purely to out-do other players by getting a higher "rank" which is nothing more than a single line of non-existant text out in the virtual universe.

Congratulations ElekTriC. And three things:

1) Who cares how he spends his free time? Maybe he is a student or a teacher and has the summer off (if they do that in the Netherlands).

2) I don't think you can call anyone who has the expert knife badge a pure tank whore. Unless that thing X-ander said is true, that would be pretty upsetting.

3) A lot of you saying that if you played the same amount of time that you would have a greater score should do some rough math on that. If he has 76023 points in 377 hours, that is 202 points an hour. So just multiply 202 by how many hours you have played. That is what ElecTriC's total score would have been at your time played. I'm betting that 9/10 times his total score will be higher than your total score. (That said there are certainly some people who would have a higher score than him, just not many percentage wise).

Also pre-emptive congrats to what I'm assuming shall soon be several dozen other gunnery sergeants.

ExP is good.. there's no doubting that.. but look at that DaZoI guy... he's in like 6th place.. he has a 4.0 KtD ratio... I would say that guy kicks some serious ass...

ExP has 1.x more points per min than I do... if I had played as much as him, I would have 50,xxx points... but then again, I hardly spend any time in armor, and I screw around with choppers/defending a lot..... he's good, but he's not a BF2 god....


Also, that DiZoi guy has only played for 200 hours... he's got like 4.3 points per min.. exp only has 3.2 or something.

at the rate he is going, DiZoi will have 97,266 points at 377 hours.... pwned.

Well I am new to the BF games so before i get relagated to the "loser" "no life" "need a job" etc etc group, I need some of you highly tuned BF law making, left wingist, censor pushing, sons of Stalin players determine FOR ME:
1) how long is it acceptable to play BF2 in one day ?
2) how many times am i allowed to play Karkland ?
3) how many kills do i get in armor before i need to get out ?
4) at what score should i start suiciding so as not to offend anyone ? (usaully do not have this problem)
any help ?
In the meantime I will be playing minesweeper, thank god there is noone there to dictate how i enjoy MY life.
