Yep and even worse when questioned on this they just said well I have to buy them the game because all the kids they go to school with have it so not having it singles them out.

Really this ignorance is very wide spread and there should be something to educate non-game literate parents in how adult game content can be these days. Maybe a few parents need to be bought up on charges for supplying a minor with something containing very adult content. I bet if lots of cases like this start coming to court parents would wise up quickly enough.

yep it almost makes you want to pass a motion where parents have to apply for some sort of license to be able to reproduce ie: you have to take a written test and prove you have a paying job (or your rpouse) so you can afford to actually have them.

Might be difficult to police though i guess you'd have to sterilise everyone at birth and they have to apply for a licese to get it reversed :p

i dont understand why it makes a difference in the games ESRB rating... your killing people either way, what difference would it make if they added blood. its not pornography, just some red textures.. jeez!

It's just the way things are judged I guess. I remember that the European and maybe US version of KIll BIll had a black & white fight sequence while in JApan it was all in colour, just because blood is harder to spot in B&W :)

I don think it needs blood anyways the action too intense to admire a blood splatter before you know it your onto your next target.

If there is such a mod in the files, I am sure over time it will be released as to how to unlock it if you wish to view it during battle.

Hell, GTA: San Andreas had an entire interactive porn scene deactivated from the release of the game until someone found the files on the CD and reactivated them on PC causing a total uproar from the US Government against Rockstar Games.

You won't see much blood in games anymore thanks to Hillary Clinton and her campaign against violent games. Granted the headlined game she campaigns against is a bit over the top GTASA, but all game titles will be punished due to her loud mouth.

I play hunting sims and the last game I beta tested they had to remove the blood that came from the animal when it was shot due to the ESRB ratings, and one of the main parts of the game was tracking wounded animals. So there was blood in it but very minimal.

In order for this to change all 18 and over gamers need to get up out of their computer chairs and start writing letters to their representatives to get their voices heard.
