3DMark05 scores?

I just downloaded the free version and ran the test and got 5588. Is that normal for my system (specs in sig)? It seems kinda low...

I wouldn't worry about it. If the game is running as you'd expect, the benchmark means diddly squat.
Why after running the benchmark, just log into Futuremark, submit your results and compare with similar rigs? It's easier than waiting for people to answer a forum post.

Also, you say 50+ fps...

I get a constant 100 fps at high settings w/ 4x aa.

Not trying to be condescending, but it's quite a jump from a 6800 series card.

about 5200 with my rig in the specs, but people with my my rig get up to like 5900 as i've seen, overclocking helps, so does a stick of ram.

Im getting 8501 in 3dmark 05, and its true it aint a great leap in speed, but i also got 7432 with 8s AA (supersampling) and 16 AF set at the driverside, those extra pixel shaders help, so as the new generation of games hit us (soon) the 7800 series should maintain the 6800's speeds whilst tackling the new pixel shader intensive engines, its then the main benefit of these cards will shine (i hope :cry: )
