3DMark05 scores?

I think you should be getting more then 4500 with that rig.


I get a 3dMark05 Score of just over 5600

My 3dMark 05 score is in my sig. I have gotten way more than my money's worth out of this hardware - it's really getting old, but still can do the job.

I'm waiting about another year until the new standards settle down and things get cheaper.

Games like BF2 thrives on memory bandwidth. That's why AMD 64 socket 939 pwns compared to socket 754 and the older socket A. Intel has had the bandwidth since P4 got 800Mhz dual channel but the problem is the CPU itself. I don't know any benchmarks that shows this because a lot of realtime calculations only happen when you play. Americas Army uses very advanced calculations for hit detection and it also runs well on A64 socket 939.
