Sandstorm Productions OFFICALLY OPENS! Releases first movie!
its soo cool.. like how they dock on the beach and they just dive down into the sand and start shooting and stuff... and the beginning when u see everyone getting ready to attack and stuff
cool vid
BUT...there's no Ambience....
you should have left some sound effects in there
gun shots...explosions...i just dont feel the excitement going on i need those sound effects
would have been much better with the sound effects still there and ppl yelling and stuff
nice movie though
I originally intended to use the full audio, but with with the battle recorder you have to record the sound seperately and once I did that I couldn't get it to sync properly (the sound of an explosion would happen a few seconds after the actual explosion happened)
That's one of the main reasons why so few bf2 videos actually have the sound right now. Most people decide to go with music and leave the audio out.
I tried various programs to sync the sound properly, but in the end none worked. Hopefully senaps' newest version of battlelauncher will take care of this
As for the quality...well...if you don't mind downloading a 5 minute video that's 200mb+ I'll keep you in mind for next time
We plan to make a second and third BF2 movie withing the next 3 weeks. So if you would like to be a part of this experience, come join us and we can get everyone and everything set up.
u know I was just about to sign up for that fightforthefuture.us thing when I see they require u to have a mic and teamspeak installed. which sucks...
nice movie anyways. wish the games on the ranked servers were more like that instead of everyone just running about like beheaded chickens.
That's not totally true. Teamspeak is required, but you'll find that every tournament for any game out there requires this because it's a good way to communicate. A mic isn't required, but it makes it easier. At the same time you can't really expect to get a high rank without a mic because it's always faster to just say your orders rather than type them out. In the end the tourney won't cost you a thing....registration is free, teamspeak is a small download and is free as well. A mic is the only thing that would ever cost you money, and even then we have many players who are currently playing without a microphone.
That was not bad, little better than average.
Though I must say with all the hype built up around Sandstorm, that movie didn't live up to expectation. Yea I agree there should be gunshot/explosion sounds added. There was quite a bit of shooting, not enough kills.
looks nice but iv seen better. i mean if ur making such a big deal on this should have went with all high settings to make it look nicer and mroe realistc. but i like it cause its acurate and reminds me of d-day when they land on the beach and the barracks up there. but one thing in real battle people dont spawn they die forever. just something i noticed
but one thing in real battle people dont spawn they die forever. just something i noticed
yes, but it's hard to make a big battle without respawning. uless you have 64 people on the server, which we hadn't. it's true though.
And without the hype, this idea will never spread. I'm sure you may be curious as to what we are hyping up, but right now, we are simply trying to get intresting in the community. The "great" films, will only happen with your support and with your ideas. Its difficult to do on a whim like this one was done without any player base. The movies may be disappointing right now, but keep an eye out, or even better, join us. They can only become more entertaining, as long as we have a steady flow of fresh ideas and new faces.
