-Our Opening Statement-
I am pleased to announce a brand new way to share your favorite war stories with others, while turning them into the next big gaming movie. Sandstorm Productions; a filming community has opened its doors to the common gamer who would like to star in their own action movie. This community will provide a place for anyone interested in gaming movies to gather and share their ideas in order to create their own movie.
We have currently separated the community into a general section for discussion about generic movies, and how they can be used to help a local clan advertise. We have also created sections for all of the battlefield series, as well as America's Army, counterstrike, and others. There are obviously hundreds of sections that we may create, but this will come with time and interest. As each section’s actor base grows, there will be specific film crews that will create a storyline, script it, act it, edit it, publish it.
This is a brand new idea for myself and those involved, therefore we are extremely open to new ideas and hope to see a great deal of interest, suggestions, and concerns.
We are also looking to recruit mods and clans for each particular game that may help broaden our horizons of what we can use to produce a film. Need an armored truck for that hostage scene?, ask a 3d modeler. Who knows what can happen with this, the ideas are unlimited!
With time, we are also hoping to produce promotional videos for clans and tournaments. Don’t have enough of a player base for your air force?, have a video made to spike some interest in your clan!
