aim for the back of the tank, in the upper part, but not on the turret.. on the upper part of the chasis.. or at the base of the turrent from the back...

For Abrams, its the commander ring, which is the ring where the machine gunner sits. Note its the RING, nothing else, and its very hard to hit the ring.
It does exist for the T90 as well, I did it once, but I dont know exactly where it is, all I know is it exist. Eitherway 2 shot kill is good enough.
But then again what are the chances you are going to be able to aim that precise in a tank-to-tank battle?
It's almost impossible to hit the tank in the right place for a 1-shot kill on multiplayer but I guess it must happen from time to time that people get lucky :)

OK all these 1 shot hit spots are seem only do 15 bar damage out of 20. For those that think there is ia 1hitKO in tank just because u experience being kill with on shot by another tank in not prove. I am an expert AT, and I can't count how many time I have shot my AT just before a friendly tank shots, and the enemy tank dies and types "wtf one shot??" (btw u can aim at a enemy tank really quick so that the alarm doesn't show up for more than a sec, if at all). There are alot of ways of dying from enemy tank with help from friendlies that it seem like you were kill in one shot. SO far there is areas to hit (like gap between the turrent and the main body) that will take 75% of you health off. BUT I have not seen any prove that anyone has posted that is a ONe hitKO with tanks, so it will remain a myth until it is so.
Since these one shots seem to happen so rarely, is there a possibility it may just be a simultaneous hit from 2 different things? (Say, the tank shell and an AT guy?)
Or it could just be that someone put C4 on you, you killed him before he blew it up, and then you got shot by an AT, and your tank got destroyed in one hit because the AT somehow triggered the C4. It happened to me today

Well I just went testing after I read this post. Funny thing is that One of the time, one of the shot took the tank down to 3 bars. Even more funny is the shell didn't really contact the "RING", i miss shot it and the shell hit the far wall. BUT I noticed right away that he tank was smoking bad. So I jump in it to notice it had only three bar after that shot. I still haven't found any OHKO, but I found a lot of spots on the top of the tank that takes it's health down to 25%. and that RING spot that take it down to 3 bars. BuT alas no OHKO.
I can say this, that spot is hard to get to, and impossible if the enemy is moving, unless u are lucky. I also found maxium amount is down to 3 bars left, which still leave enought time for you to jump out.
They really should make it so a shot in the open hatch kills the driver, whether a grenade is tossed inside or a rocket/shell lands in it. Doesn't have to blow up the tank, just kill who's inside.
Ohh BTW, i have practiced the 1 hit shot numerous times. Its no myth. Ive done it plenty of times, but its almost a luck shot. Only successfully done it twice in game that i knew that the enemy tank was full health cuz it was a clanmate.
