Personally its not a stats thing with me. I play in an honorable/ethical way and I expect the same of others. Now your going to say either its just a game or why should someone follow your ethical standards. A. yes it is just a game but we are participating with other individuals who are following the rules. Some of us just want an HONEST game. See when you do something the right way instead of cheating you are truly showing skill, not something artificial. B. If you think honor and fair play mean nothing and are not worth fighting for even if its in a fake pc game; you are an example (imo) of the a$$holes in this world and your opinion is null and void.

to be honest with you there will be no bans. People may get stats reset if they make it obvious like kill streaks of 80/90 and 300 to 400 points a round but until the 1.03 patch EA havnt got a leg to stand on. Its there fault and they could have legal action taken against them if they do anything. However with the 1.03 patch at end of august the point farming will stop. If you get caught doing it still then yes there will be bans. EA should have fixed this crap from day 1 and not let it drag on. Sorry EA but you dropped the ball. I guess we shall see with the next patch :)

Me and my brother found some point farming on sharqi, they acted like they wernt doing anything wrong. So we drove over, capped the enemy then my bro teamkilled the other two and got kicked. Then they came back so i jihaded a APC into them and got kicked myself. Noone else in the server was even bothered. They should be banned, other people shouldnt have to pay for what they do

I have recently been playing as medic and re-supply on Karkand, if you want to earn points the honest way come play in Karkand - theres plenty of people needing ammo/health/reviving and your doing it the right way.

On a sidenote...

When i was Re-Supply in a heli as pilot the crew were letting rip and i was earning points for the resupply, sounds like a grey area to me that needs something defined?.

Well to a certain extent I have respect for others and it's rude and annoying when that repsect is abused. This next point is taking things a step too far I know but if you look at it on a more global level the lack of respect for others views, opinions and feelings is the major reason why there is so much sh1t going on the world. That along with money and greed of course. If everybody just threw their hands up and said bah it's ok these people can say and do whatever they hell they want no matter how it effects me and turn their back on it then that's just pouring fuel on the fire.

I know that's a big step from playing a game to making a moral point about the world today but the basic principle is the same. The lack of repsect for others and a blatant abuse of the system to benefit their own greedy ego's is not fair on people who play by the rules and so they should be punished.

But again at the end of day how you view this all depends on how much you value your stats. Some do some don't. If you don't then the cheaters/stat padders don't effect you whether they do it or not. It's a win/win so you shouldn't care either way.

i don't think they should be banned but points should be deducted from there total score.

maybe lower their rank/weapon upgrades and deduct 1000/2000 points etc everytime they do it.....

if they continue to pointfarm them ban the noobs

I think definitely ban. Doing this does not add to the game it only detracts from and it also affectively takes at least 2 people out of the game while they whore. A lot of the time there will be 2 people, 1 on each team, and they whore on teammates who are just trying to play and have fun. If you read the EA agreement this is definitely behaviour warranting a big ol' fat BAN.

They should be reported, but really its no big deal. No matter how high their ranks are if they suck they suck, you gets to kill them easy eitherway. A noob sergant is no better than a noob lance, unless they bought the game so they can stat-farm specifically they are not going to have much of an advantage.

Its also like getting the knife badge, getting it dosnt make you any better at knifing other than waste your time trying to knife people, often dying in the process. In the end all you get is to hope someone on the forum will notice the tiny icon on your sig.

I think they should be banned. I am sick of people who are already Staff Sergeant and brag about their rank. I know some people played a lot and received SSgt the right way but most of the people who are SSgt. already are stat padders.
