Second Unlock: PKM vs M95

I just made Corporal today (yay!) and now I have to choose which gun I should unlock. I think this will be my last unlock, since I probably won't make it to the next rank anytime soon. I've narrowed my choices down to the PKM and the M95. I don't play any the other classes enough to justify an unlocked weapon. Oh, and my first unlock was the L85.

If I choose the PKM, that means I'll have to play Support class. As Support, I can get a ton of resupply points. However, I never liked the Support guns too much. How does the PKM compare to the SAW and etc?

If I go with the M95, I won't have many chances to get a lot of points. However, I love playing a Sniper when I'm bored. I've used a M95 before and I wrecked havoc with it, but I can kick ass with the M24 and the SVD also..

I'm leaning towards the PKM right now, but I need your input!

Well, actually it depends on the class you prefer to play. If you never play support, why get the PKM?

if u ask me the M95 is equivalent i mean exact power and range as the defaulr USMC sniper. i tested it and same ****. so go with the PKM

CAN PPL STOP POSTING THREADS ABOUT WHICH WEAPON THEY SHOULD UNLOCK??? i mean just get the mod that allows u to unlock all weapons in single player and test it out for urself??

The mod does not work if you have either of the patches.

What happens when hes MEC/PLA? M95 is better then both of the non US rifles IMO. If you dont play support now, why upgrade to the PKM. Look for an upgrade thats a definite upgrade, but also go with something you're going to use. If im MEC/PLA I always use my M95 over the chinese and mec rifles.

You can't. You have to reinstall the game or download the demo.

big deal reinstalling the game is actually faster than updating the patches for me, either way, he got whats he wanted....

good choice with the pkm, its much better than the sniper rifle

I went for the G36c as my 2nd unlock and loved it, now I'm close to sergent i'm going for the PKM as my 3rd unlock.

My first unlock was the L8 medic, love that gun as well. :)

I would have the PKM now but i figured im going to need all the help i can get, getting more points later on as ill need it, and support wont be as fresh then, thats why i have the G3 now. Current unlock order:

L85A1 > G3 > PKM > DAO-12 > G36c > MK3A1 > M95
