If I might add, another great use for the C4 is to infiltrate the enemy's base. Plant two C4's on the ever important UAV Trailer and blow it. Then immediately plant another C4 in the wreckage and run and hide out of sight...but make sure you can still see the trailer. Hopefully an Engineer seeking a repair point will come to do his handy work...giving you a perfect opportunity to do your handy work and score a kill, further hindering the enemy's Commander. Worse case scenario, the Commander drops a supply crate on it, in which case you blow it again. You might not get a kill, but in the big scheme of things...you're still helping the whole team.

You cant blow it again because all commander objects that get repaired get the C4's removed, meanign you have to replant them. Same goes if the engineer repairs it before you can blow it, possibly due to your carelessness.

Well if that's true, you can always just place it underneath the trailer or on the ground next to it. Not too sure if the C4 underneath it would kill someone next to it though.

I'm tempted to go for the veteran and expert explosives badges now. I've been playing so long with just my knife or pistol to get the expert badges in both that I feel a little explosives action couldn't hurt

If it hasn't been repaired and the Engineer comes running up and you detonate it... it will work. It has a pretty good blast radius...so you don't have to wait for him to be on top of it reparing it...you can blast prior to that...Or...like x3phyr said in his reply...then put it close to it.

Either way...it's a good tactic...and works well...

thats why you blow it when the engineer is beside or while he is repairing it but before he finishes.

dont know if its been posted, but i didnt that to a tank, and died, and spawned right after i spawned and enemy took that same tank, and it blew up on its own, and said i got two C4 kills, i never pushed the remote

Ok gamey tips,

Go to a passenger slot on a Black Hawk. When you're over a hot flag point or hovering over enemy vehicles or troops. Drop C4 over the side, wait to get a safe distance and hit the remote and boom! Kills and kill damage assists galore. If there's a support on board, you get a constant top up. Scored well over a hundred points if I get a decent pilot, but make sure you're at a safe distance before detonating. Great fun.

Sure you probably already know this one, but c4 set directly below a low hovering chopper trying to capture a flag point will either cause heavy damage or take it out. Deters helo point farming whores.

Haven't perfected this one yet. But i've seen this done effectively. Place 2-3 c4s on a buggy and go tank/apc hunting. Aim the buggy at a tank at high speed, press E at a safe distance and hit the detonator when the buggy strikes the tank. Takes skill, but is really satisfying when you pull it off.
