unlocking weapons, is it worth it?

I´m not that much of a fan of the G3, I am looking to unlock the L8 which has been awesome everytime I´ve tried it.

i unlocked the G3 its a hell of a lot better at close range it sucks at long range in single mode... if it was more accrute it would be a really good gun...

i wish i would unlocked the PKM...

if you choose the G3 you get regular grenades instead of the m203. and whats the point of only having 1 smoke grenade? wtf?

i really dislike the whole unlock system. they should have made that different than the ranks. so leave the ranks the way they are and let the unlocks be based on skill or number of kills of something. like you have to get 100 (random number) SAW kills to unlock the PKM. if you still want to go by points, then say every 500 points or so you get an unlock.

or just raise the amount of points you get for something. say a kill gives you 10 points, flag cap gives 20 (but they need to get rid of the freaking bh whoring), etc...right now, the amount of points you get for something is so disproportionate to the amount of points you need to get unlocks. 1st unlock at 1000 points, ok, next unlock at 10,500? WTF??? why do i have to be a certain rank to know how to use a certain gun or certain amount of guns??

when u get used to it , u will love it for far rang. this thing is like a sniper rifle trust me iv tried it before. "Single fire is your best friend"

i use my unlock weapons when im on the chinese teams, i cant seem to use their weapons

My unlocks

I am extremely happy with the L85A1 unlock. It reminds me of the VSS from the Desert Combat Mod for those of you who played that. The gun is excellent for picking off just about anyone. However, I do miss the burst fire from some of the other medic guns, but its a small price to pay for major accuracy and a scope.

I've also unlocked the jackhammer (MK3A1...or something). Major improvement over the american and chinese pump shotties. The MEC shotgun isnt all that bad though. I havent gotten much chance to go on a rampage with the jackhammer yet but Im looking forward to one. Oh yea...the jackhammer sounds really cool firing 1st person, I wish they kept it as loud from other peoples angles. Then it would be more intimidating.

Next I'm looking forward to the M95/50 cal.
