unlocking weapons, is it worth it?

Unlocked weapons aren't suppose to be better. They are an alternative.

Only un-lock I got was the sniper rifle. I love it, although I rarely play sniper I have shot down helicopter pilots with it. One time, bad guy just spawned and hopped in the chopper and I got him. Another case was a blackhawk was hanging over a flag capping, shot the pilot, nobody jumped in the driver seat, it crashed into a building and it gave me kills for everyone on the plane and a defend flag points.. I think if I was sniper I could do that more....

Cant beat a good gun

I love the l85, its a lot beeter alternative to m16 for medics :) and you can give a sniper a run for there money with little muzzle flash and lovely accuracy :)

The M95 was worth the unlock for me. I use it almost exclusively when im either MEC or CHINA because their snipers suck. Yes they are semi auto, but they do very little damage compared to the M95 and they both are questionable in the accuracy department. Plus, the M95 can shoot through the bullet proof glass on the choppers and planes to kill the pilots, in which the other sniper rifles cant. It does take some getting used to though.

For my second unlock, I got the L85A1. At first, I thought it was the assault junkies sniper rifle. But then I found that I kept on getting dominated in head to head firefights. The M16 was MUCH better in the department. The way to use the L8 is to get on your belly, switch to single shot mode, and see if you can get some headshots. I mean, its not completly useless as an assualt rifle, but there are much better guns out there.

I finally got the M95 when I reached SGT. It's nice to have the option, especially when you play MEC or China. I also like the how the zoom looks. I find it easier to get headshots. :p

I've unlocked the g85 for medic, and found it to be the best gun of all. (might be because I rarely play anything else) but with single-shot its pretty accurate and auto is good at close quarters if your not a complete **** who aims for the feet. (your own)

And meaby its because of my develishly good aim, or my develishly good luck

Either way, I am trapped in an alternate reality and can't get out :cry:

Is it really worth it? You gain a steady high damage, but you get a steady medium accurasy... mind you I guess this is a close quarter gun

You can now shoot through helicopter glass... not that a helicopter stays still long enough for you to really get a shot on the pilot

M24 is the most accurate gun ingame. You must REALLY suck, because the M24 is the last word in sniping. It's impossible to miss with this bad boy.

PKM: Yes! If you play support a lot or a little, get it! It pwnz j00!!1

M95: Yes! Accuracy is like that of the MEC sniper, but it packs a hella lotta punch.

unlocks aren't weapons made from gods hand, but they are better then the original weapons.

The sniper, well, I took tons of pilots out with the thing.

about the engineer unlock you say : From pump to full ... so what?

ever used the unlock ? this thing takes everybody down in less then one second, pump will cost you 1sec between each shot, the unlock gives you 7 shots in 2 sec

the spec ops unlock is super, I have used it, and the weapon rock on long and close distance, it's realy much better then the original weapon

the medic unlock, it isn't that good close fighting, but it's almost a dam sniping gun, in one shot burst it takes out snipers aiming at you and they are missing

Unlocks are definatly worth it. especially the pkm, it does tremendous amount of damage and can be very accurate if firing single shots.

The DOA is also far better then the mp5, cause basicly the MP5 is bad in all situations, the DOA is extremly good in closcombat but bad for long and medium range.

The G3 seems to me th overall least usefull unlock, I don't get why you think it is the most usefull. The gun basicly does only 2 more damage then the standard ak47, has a lesse singleshot accuracy then the m16, the only thing it does well is full auto, plus it has only a 20 round magazine and no grenade launcher.

The jackhammer is not worthwhile if you play mostly MEC, cause the standard is just as good

I unlocked the medic gun I was a little disapointed. People say it's such a great weapon but only thing good about it is accuracy and even that has a limit to how far you can shoot.

i think its worth it. when i unlocked my L8 it was way better than any other Rifle. and i tried out a G3 which im about ot unlock next and its much better than default.

The PKM flat out pwns over the other 2 support guns. As someone has said already these guns are an alternative rather than some UBERLEETPWNINGLOVEMACHINE unlock. Only had experience with the pkm as it is my unlock and can say it isn't just for close quarter battles you can take down infantry while they are some distance away.

High damage + Unlimited Ammo = Gotta be worth the unlock
