Crash to Desktop on startup on LCD, works on CRT

had the same problem, its EA's crappy programming that doesnt detect that you changed your monitor so you gotta do a fresh reinstall. I tried all the solutions above too.

you know i dont wanna say it but im going to im tired of people blaming shitty ea for programming errors, DICE DEVELOPED THE DAMN GAME NOT EA, ****in doushce. Even at that i dont think you could get an error from the game not "detecting" your monitor as it doesnt ever do that.

ok poor choice of words but if you previously set up a graphics profile and then switch hardware to something that doesnt support the EXISTING profile the game WILL crash

thats because you never really ran into these problems but when i changed my monitor and tried running Call of Duty it does recognize that tehres a hardware change and changes the settings accordingly.
