That's right. Also, if you're the medic try killing the enemy first. I've been killed too many times running around with my paddles when I could easily have killed a bad guy and then revived.

      Thanks.

If you get killed and open the spawn menu, pick your kit and spawn point , click done they cant revive you, even if they lay the pads on you.

At least thats the way it seems to work for me.

It may be as =PxR=TitanSound said, that if you leave the spawn window open they cant, Ill have to double check but I know for a fact that Ive had multiple pads laid on me and not been revived. I think PXR may have it right but Ill let you know after I check it out.

If you just lay there without opening spawn menu you are revivable.

I could be wrong but it seems to work for me.

It resets the timer, I don't like to spend 45 seconds getting repeatedly killed by the same tank.

It's against the Geneva convention to kill a Medic just so you know.

              So stop it.

I dont mind getting revived. I do like killing someone and hearing them say medic 50 times though... Kinda funny..

It is my pleasure to revive you and watch you die again. That way I get massive revive points. Sucks you be you...

Handy for situations like the above
                    No, that's wrong.

And in Joint Ops you'd only be able to be revived if you hit the revive button. That gives a medic 90 seconds to get to you and revive you.

Spawn times in that game could range from 0 to over 100 seconds. Reviving comes in handy, but it's better than waiting the long spawn times.

PLUS in Joint Ops you could change your kit and weapon any time you wanted, and you could get more ammo at any time you wanted.

BF2 just doesn't have those things.

no one here can just leave out the support guys. what happens when youre playing as spec ops and you suddenly run out of ammo from your M4? you go straight to your M9 when you see 2 squads of MEC's coming from the corner. arent you lucky your best friend has extra ammo for you (and a SAW to mow them down)?

support guys are the best. play as them all the time. but yeah medics own too.

Meh. I like assault. Salute to the anti tankers and spec ops for destroying armour. Without yall id be screwed. Also a shout out to all you support people. G3 runs out of ammo too quick

Really, the paddles affect friendlies too? I once zapped someone another medic had just zapped, didn't seem to have any effect.

To the OP: don't worry, the medic doesn't care that he died, he already got his points. You're both doing each other a favour.

But I do find it more satisfying to kill the killer before reviving. Or even just seeing my patient run away safely. When you die on Karkand, always be ready with your finger on 'Z' to pop out of prone and run!

I'm pretty sure that it is impossible to TK using shock paddles. Also, you should be glad the medics revive you. Think about it.

This is nothing more than a game. Is another 2-3 seconds of waiting really going to change your life that much? Just be glad that a medic put himself in the line of fire to give YOU another chance.

yeah, definitely impossible to tk w/ medic paddles. Tried it a hundred times goofing around with a buddy...impossible. Would be a funny story, if it were true :hmm:
