Just a heads up for you and others converting from past BF games. EA and DICE have stated that they WILL NOT allow porting old Battlefield game components into BF2 and will take legal actions against those who do not follow this guideline. Porting includes models and objects. Starting from scratch is fine, but converting will not be allowed, as told by EA and DICE
Yeh I know what you mean, EA and DICE are like "You can't copy stuff from BF1942 into BF2, both games that we made it's just we don't want people enjoying themselves on some of the best maps in the BF series on our new BF2 release"
I know somebody that is a very well known for converting BF42 to maps over to BFV mod POE has all ready begun work on a few bf42 maps for BF2. Hang tight and before you know it we will be reliving these classic BF42 maps in the wonderful new world that is BF2.
