Ground defense Ribbon?

I think that the best, easiest and most fun way to get this and your ground defense badge is to get on a 32 player server that is playing Dragon valley. Be china. Go to the flag that has the TOW overlooking the bridge across the river, right underneath teh pipeline. sit in this for a while, shooting everything that crosses that bridge.

This is how I got my ribbon and my badge. I never realized how much stopping power the TOW has. I was able to take out a tank wiht just one well placed shot.

If I recall its 20 minutes in an armored vehicle and 19 kills (which HAVE to be directly related to the armored vehicle).

I got mine on Dragon Valley. I lost 3 tanks in the process but we kept the southwest flag and I kept spawning there and grabbing the tank. My first 5 kills were a blackhawk attempting to take the middle base.

I wanted to test the webpage I found so I vowed not to get ANY kills other than direct tank kills. The second I got my 19th kill...the ribbon popped up.

I got my helicopter service ribbon on your server :)
i got that ribbon from direct helicopter kills (both seats) and artillery kills while co-pilot. this is 100% fact, so i am just assuming it works for the armoured service too. and there was no way i killed 19 tanks when i got my ribbon so infantry count too.

No, you don't have to kill 19 armored vehicles... :) Just have to have 19 kills from a tank, either as the driver or gunner on top. Same with choppers, as you saw...you can be the main flyer or secondary gunner...as long as you get kills, you get the ribbon.
