Poor sportsmanship spreading?

We have all heard about and repeatedly expirienced the whole "I want to drive the -----, ill get run over and punish you if I dont get my way!" thing, but something else is happening that really dissapoints me...

Latley I have noticed a sharp increase in the number of people hopping around and using nothing but the grenade launcher... ive seen these pansies do this before, but now it seems like everyone on the server is doing it...

Has anyone else noticed a sudden increase or is the doctor right? I might really be crazy...

You could be right, I often see "Battles of the Noob-Toobs" these days...

If some guy is particularly annoying you with the assualt grenade launcher, go anti-tank, keep your distance and/or height advantage, and laser-guide those rockets into his arse. Keep hunting him down repeatedly until you feel better. Sometimes the best way to beat the noob-toobers is to join them... :)

It's sometimes hard to beat a pack of noobs on your own. Just get a squad of friends and wreak havok with teamwork. Teamwork always wins in this game.

you're right. i see exactly the same things. ESPECIALLY on Karkand. ITS A NOOB MAGNET. You see an example of every single form of noob behaivor on this map.

its all about the noobs. they are learning it from others, then doing it themselves. its viral. this is the legacy of CS.

DICE will just have to patch the game over time so that all the noobs stuff goes away.

I've actually noticed people forgiving me a LOT more...for example...I accidently bombed 3 people in a plane and not one punished me, nearly gave me a heart attack :P

Generally people only stand infront of your plane if you do it to them...but then again there are asshats outthere who do it just cos they didn't get the plane. Sucks but oh well.

Poor sportsmanship has existed since the dawning of online gaming. The anonymity breeds this. Without consequence, a normal fair-playing player will turn into an absolute jerk while hiding behind his computer monitor.

There is nothing you can do about it.

hey man, this happens alot in games.... i think EA should make a patch and make the nade launcher a little weaker or more inaccurate, otherwise eeryeone uses it...

Find a different server. My rule is if I die more than half the time from an explosive, I leave. Not all the servers have noobtubers, just they tend to congregate on different ones each day.

You can find some server that are "teamwork" oriented and some have admins and you can report people that do that or the same people who stat whore and use the Black Hawk to cap flags and some kick people unless they are in a squad, etc.

Nah, make it more powerful and less accurate at range... Increased splash damage will stop the buggers killing people 6ft away and surviving... Dieing everytime you try to slot someone close with a t00b, will certainly discourage their use.

OMG there is nothign more that i hate then the GP30 and the M203 "Noob-Tubes" Everytime i get killed by one i yell out loud at myself and hit something!

It won't go away. That has been driving people crazy since BFV in the M60 kit, noobs grenade launching the crap out of everyone. Once they run out of nades and have to aim with a gun it's over for them. It's actualy funny to see one of these nade whores unload a clip from the Ak and not hit you. Then make fun of them for a while.
