Battlefield 2 VoIP?

I bought this headset when the BF2 demo came out. I'm very glad that I did. VOIP can be useful in a lot of situations and it's a lot of fun as well. I recommend buying a headset. Beats typing

I use my headset all the time, but we all play together. Meet people, add them on xfire, then you'll have an awesome squad to play pretty much whenever.

I never team up w/ people I don't know anymore, unless there is room in our squad for them to join.

Squad play is so much better with mic's it really enhances teamwork and makes you alot more successful but i find hardly anyone uses them and never a full squad however they all did in a korean server maybe there better equipped, (was quite funny though)

They really enhance play if you play with a group you know, because of things like teamspeak or ventrilo. Allows you to easily communicate ingame, as well as coordinate joining servers and the like. It is also fun to talk to people while playing the game, takes cooperative play to the max.

I do now remember that when the demo was out everyone seemed to play much more team based and many people used VoIP in that as well, too bad it dosent seemed to have passed on to the full game

i have been noticing lot more VOIP usage lately, but it still baffles me how amny people still dont have mics.

YES YES YES. Get a mic, then create a squad called VOIP and watch people join. If they don't talk kick them out. When a squad uses voice the results can be amazing, would not like to play it with out one now.

Yes it is worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If no one thinks it is worth it and no one buys a mic this useful concept will go to waste. So go out and buy a 10 dolar mic at best buy.

If you are in a squad, hold down 'B' (default key) while talking to talk to your squad. If you are squad leader, it's the same for squad, but also you can hold down 'V' (default key) to talk to the commander.

Yeah but when you buy, make sure you go for quality. Cause I have a shitty headset I got with GW CE edition, and I much rather type. Plus people the VIOP, does it have enough bandwith to carry good quality sound or d you have to hire ventrillo or teamspeak server to do that.
