How do I check to see how much power supply I have?

It should be listed on a sticker on the PSU itself. There will be an indication of total wattage and then a breakdown of amperage on each rail 3v, 5v and 12v. If there's no sticker you'd have to use a Multimeter and alot of math. I don't recommend the latter. Sometimes you can look up the specs on the manufacturer's site also.

Well his Mobo would have to have sensors that check for amperage as well as voltage inorder to come up with total wattage, and I don't believe they do. I could most definitley be wrong. You could try a Google search.

What's your motherboard BDFtaylor18? If it's ASUS then you may use asus probe to figure out your temps, voltages, and such. Many other brands offer similar programs.
