Tips on getting the Air Defense Ribbon

Use the USMC linebacker on dragon valley 32 player. Sit across the water from the chinese base and kill lots of noobs who keep spawning on the hill.

I got mine of Oilfields. Grap the anti-air tank at the Chinese main base and drive down to the warehouse/hangar type building that's near the middle flag. You can use the building for cover and just sit at the exit facing the USMC base. When choppers come over, shoot em down. You can also get infantry kills when they cap that corner base and start heading towards the center flag.

as people have said, you don't need to shoot down aircraft to do this. i got mine while in a linebacker on dalian plant just by taking out people on the ground. it was in a weird 64 player server where there'd be 1 round of the 64 player map and 1 round of the 16 player map. needless to say, the linebacker raped on the 16 player one and i got the ribbon

I got it in Dragon Valley ( 32player map)......I took a Linebacker, drove it to the end of the Airstrip at Chinese Airport and camped there because tehy didn't have any other bases....I got it in about 5 minutes...

us an AA tank as an American on Fuh She Pass. They're an area with crops there below the north east checkpoint. You can sit there and be clear of any crap..ie tanks and can take out anything that comes from the china base. It's how i got mine. Just make sure you get a crate dropped...

I have tried for a while and that seems to be one of the ribbons that give me the most trouble. It just seems that the Stingers never work in my favor. I always wait for the pilots to dispense their flares first and I wait for a good angle to take the shot but I can never get 11 kills. The most I got was 7 and that was when I played in a 64 man server. So any tips for people out there who have it on an easy way to get it? Thanks for the help.

indeed...especially those stingers that just wont stay on course. Shoot all 6 of them off and the plane you're shooting at goes out of range and you're totally screwed.. i got 12 team kills and a kick once that way.. took out 2 full blackhawks :/

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly how I got the ribbon. Dalian plant, 64 players players. But, I alternated from the bottom left to the bottom right base quite a bit as once I took down a few choppers from one base, the choppers just stopped coming there and began concentrating on the opposite side of the map.

I wasn't even trying for the ribbon at the time though. (I've never tried for a ribbon.) I just got sick of all the USMC choppers owning the map.

Got it with the Chinese AA vehicle (Type 95) on 32 player Dragon Valley defending the main Chinese base. Killed a few enemy personel trying to cap the flag and kept whacking the enemy choppers as they flew back to their base alone the narrow valley.

JUST BE A COMMANDER AND SIT IN A A/A site and arty people. Its the easiest thing in the world!
